Lydia's POV

Night time had fallen, I faked like I was asleep waiting for Stiles to knock out, I knew it would be soon, and I was right. As soon as he did I silently made my escape towards Theo, I knew I'd have a much better chance at working with him then I would with Stiles. I went through the woods until I finally found what I was looking for, there he was standing with his usual smirk on his face, waiting for me. "About time you showed up. I was getting grey hairs waiting for you." He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I only giggled "well I had to get away from Stiles, and you know how long it takes him to fall asleep." Theo rolled his eyes "it's about time you finally decided to ditch him and go after a real man." He smirked. His smirk always made me melt, he was bad but man, I'm sure he'd please any girl if he tried hard enough. I snapped out of my trance, "so what's the plan, because as far as I'm concerned I don't believe that both winners have to be from the same district." He nodded in agreement. "Well first of all, we get rid of anyone who may stand in our way of winning." I thought for a minute "Malia." I mumbled, but I knew Theo would never let that slide by. All he did was glance at me and shake his head, making me roll my eyes. I knew I'd get her dead eventually. We decided to camp out for the night and wake up early tomorrow, we wanted to get rid of as many people as possible

Theo's POV
By early morning I had already woken up, I sensed something coming and got ready to attack. Then I realized it was just a deer. Shifting I saw a familiar strawberry blonde snuggled next to me, I had to admit she looked beautiful, but I couldn't let that distract me. I needed to keep my eyes on the prize, and that was making sure I would win the games no matter who stood in my way. I took a banana out of my bag and went into a trance. I needed a plan, who to take out first? After a while of thinking a saw Lydia sit up from the corner of my eye, I gave her a smile and tossed her and apple "good morning, sleeping beauty." I said. She waved back while munching on the apple. "What are you thinking about?" She asked softly, I tossed the peel of my banana into the woods and started packing our supplies "a plan" I told her "who we can take out first." I noticed a smile spread across her lips and she swallowed "... Malia." She mumbled, but I heard her. I simply shook my head; "I told you, not...her." I said sternly. She tilted her head and cocked an eyebrow at me "oh? And why not? It's not like you have a better idea" she rolled her eyes tossing the apple core to the ground. I smirked and looked down at her "I do actually.." I chuckled lowly "hm? Who would that be?" She asked packing her things also. I stuffed the last blanket into my bag and threw it over my shoulder "Stiles" I said bluntly, and she froze.

Lydia's POV
I froze and swallowed down hard "um..y-yeah, yeah that's a good idea. We'll take him out first." I said picking up my bag also. He took a few steps closer to me, so our faces were inches apart and he smirked, "is it really? You aren't nervous about me killing him... Are you? Because... I can hear your heartbeat, getting faster... And faster." He said in a hushed tone. I shook my head and lightly pushed him away "of course I'm not." I said as calm as I could. All Theo did was look at me and nod before turning to walk away, and I followed, but I knew he could tell I was lying, I was nervous but he didn't care. He wanted to do whatever it takes to win.
