Chapter 8
I can't believe I just sang my song to someone I've only know for a day. What's wrong with you, Jess? I asked myself. I felt a hand on my cheek and I looked up into sea green eyes. I smiled and looked back down.
"That was truely amazing." Harry said. "I don't think I've heard anybody sing like you." I looked up at him.
"Really?" I asked suprised.
"Really, really." He said showing his dimples. My phone vibrated in my pocket and I guickly pulled it out. It was my dad. I glanced at the time.
"Holy crap." I said trying to stand. Harry was up before me and offered to get the guitar. I handed it to him gentely, grabbed my book and stood up. I read the text from my dad asking where I was and if I was ok. I texted him back and told him I was fine and I'll be home in a few minutes. He replied with an ok and I turned to Harry. He was twirling a piece of vine in his hand. I smiled and walked over to him.
"We have to go." I told him putting my book and guitar in the wooden box. I put the lock back on it and turned to Harry. He smiled at me and I smiled back. We turned in the direction of the horses and started walking. Once we were on the horses we took off towards home.

Me and Harry walked into the house and I pulled off my denim jacket and hung it on the rack inside the door. I had noticed that my grandma, my aunt, and cousins had showed up. I turned to Harry.
"Wanna have dinner with us?" He sighed a little, thinking. Then he smiled at me.
"Let me call my fam and make sure it's alright." I smiled back.
"Ok. You can stay here and call then and go make sure it's fine with dad." I left him in the main hallway and went into the kitechen where everybody was. I was greeted by "hey"s and kisses as I entered.
"Where's dad? I asked aunt Casa.
"Out at the grill sweetie." She said. Just then something grabbed onto each one of my legs. I looked down to see Madison and Emma clinging to my legs. I giggled and bent down to them.
"Hey girls!" I said hugging them both. "Wanna come outside with me?"
"Yeah!" They both said. I took both of their hands and led them out the door. I saw my dad at the grill and walked up to him.
"Hey dad." I said leaning up against the gate surrounding the back porch.
"Hey, honey." He replied adding somemore of his sause to the barbeque.
"Smells good." I told him and he smiled.
"Thanks."
"Hey can Harry have dinner with us tonight?" I asked him and he gave me a look like 'really?' I gave him a pouty look and he sighed. "I mean come on, if it weren't for him, God only know what Alec would have done." I added and he sighed again but smiled.
"I guess he can." I smiled and kissed his cheek and went back inside. I walked back into the hallway and heard Harry talking.
"No, Edward she's just a friend.... NO she doesn't have a sister!..... Oh my gosh, Edward just ask mom if I can!" He sighed and leaned against the wall. I took the advantage and walked into the hallway. He smiled when he saw me and I smiled back. His face changed when the person on the other end started talking.
"Jesus Edward stop asking me if she has this, or done that! What did mom say?! Yes or no?" I could tell he was getting frusterated with the person on the other end. I realized I was staring at his face and looked away. "Ok! Thank you." He said and sighed looking at me and smiling. I smiled back as he continued the conversation. He started to end it but the person called him.
