Chapter 10

I sat on my porch waiting on Harry. He was gonna pick me up for the tailgate party tonight. I had on a light blue tank top, a pair of shorts, a white lace cover-up, and my white lace Toms. My dog Eclipse sat beside me and I stroked her head. She was a husky. My other dog, Riggs laid beside me. He was a Shetland Sheepdog. They both jumped off the porch barking when the familiar black camaro cam rolling into the drive. I smiled and poked my head in the front door. I called to dad and told him Harry was here and that I was leaving. I closed the door and walked out to the car. Travis had grabbed the leashes and was  holding Riggs and Eclipse back. I smiled at him before getting into the car. I got in and shut the door.

"Hey." Harry said smiling.

"Hello." I smiled back.

"Like your outfit." He said turning around in the driveway.

"Thank you." I said picking at a loose strand on my cover up.

"You ok?" He asked as we pulled out.

"Oh, I'm fine." I said.

"You sure?"

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"Well you've been quiet." He said looking over at me.

"Oh, I'm just sleepy. I almost dozed off texting you." I laughed at the end and he smiled.

"Oh ok. Well we don't have to go to the tailgate thing if you don't want to." He said.

"No, it's fine. I want to go." I said.

"Ok. Well how bout some music?" He said clicking on the radio.

"More Queen?" I asked looking at him.

"If you want, then sure." He smiled. God, I love his smile.. I said to myself. His eyes and his curls and.. Ok Jess stop. He turned the radio and we jammed out till we got to the school.

We got there before a lot of people did so we just hung out at Harry's car 'till my friends got here. I was laughing at a joke he said when Paul walked up.

"Hey you guys made it." He said with a smile.

"Yeah." I said.

"Sup man." Paul said to Harry.

"Ello." He said and smiled. Paul looked at me and smiled. I couldn't tell if it was my imagination or not, but I swore I saw Harry move closer to me.

"So there's drinks over there and snacks." Paul said. Someone called his name and he walked over to his friends. Me and Harry talked for a few more minutes before Hanna showed up. Then Montana, Collin, Megan, and Zoe all showed up. We all talked and danced to the music. Everybody kept laughing at Hanna as she was dancing. Soon it was 7:30 and we all went to the field for the game. Half way into the game Harry nudge my arm.

"You wanna walk around?" He asked him.

"Sure." I smiled and stood up. I tapped Hanna's arm and told her we'd be back in a few minutes. She nodded and we walked off to the side of the bleachers. We walked around to the other side or the field. We laughed and talked and sat on the rails of the bleachers.

"Hey," I said standing up.

"Yeah?" Harry said looking at me funny.

"Have you ever climbed up the bleachers?" I asked taking hold on one of the steel poles.
