Chapter Four

Anniyah Pov...

"So everyone's going to the mall with us", TJ said standing at the door. " Yea I guess... Niy you going right?", Kori asked me.

"Um.. No, she's clearly hurt by her boyfriend.. Let her you know, stay here", she responded eyeing me. I laughed at how she ease dropped on my conversation.

"Boyfriend? Oh no, the conversation you eased dropped on that wasn't boyfriend. Just someone I thought about dating..  And baby girl hurt by who? No one, thank you for your consideration but I go where I please not wanted", I said putting on my shoes. She just looked at me and headed outside dragging Santo behind her.

"So were to first", Ray asked scanning the direction board. "Footlocker", me and Santo said at the same time.

He looked at me and quickly looked away. He was acting a lot different from yesterday. He hasn't said a word to me and he's under TJ a lot. I don't know why but it breaks my heart to see him with her.

Chresanto Pov...

We hit a couple of stores and we were just walking around. I haven't talked to Anniyah all day. I was still acting like a little brat after she said she didn't have a boyfriend. Seeing her talking her to Ray made me wanted to finish our conversation from yesterday. And this rage of jealousy rises again. I just wish TJ could hold a conversation but she only wants to talk about herself.

" I'm hungry.. Y'all wanna go to the Food Court", Prod said  rubbing his stomach. When isn't this nigga hungry. We headed to the food court anyways.

Everyone has went there separate ways I went to Charlie's because they had the best bacon&cheese fries. Then I noticed the person in front of me was Anniyah. I tapped her and she turned around.

"Hey", I said as she shook her head. "Oh so now you wanna say hey", she said as I shrugged and bit my lip.

"Sorry about that... So what you getting from here?"

"The Bacon&Cheese Fries", she said swaying side to side. "Yea me too", as soon as I said that I heard squeals from girls. When I turned around is was a group of girls rushing our way. I grabbed her hand started running. Even though the group is not together, fans still act crazy.

"Why are we running... Let me go I want my Fries", she yelling but not as loud as the girls. "We can't", I said almost dragging her. I ran out the exit and saw everyone outside. And we started to catch our breath.

"Great day to go to the mall", Prince said laughing. "Team Mindless is like a army", Ray said eating his taco.

"So back to the house we go.. After almost being attacked", Gemini said. "Yea, I guess we should", I said breathing regularly now. Everyone began to get into side the cars.

"I would like my hand back", Anniyah said unwinding our fingers. I didn't even noticed that as we both laughed and went our separate ways. "We see you Roc. You like shawty don't you", Prod said starting the car.

I just laughed it off as I got into the car. I guess I did like her more than I thought.

La'Shonda Pov...

These loud ass kids came back. And Greg left to get them some food because of the incident from earlier. Now I'm stuck with all these headaches.. Can't wait until we leave.

"Hey Mrs.Meadows", that blue headed girl said sitting in the quiet room with me. "Oh hey sweetie I forgot your name", I said closing my eyes.

"Oh.. TJ", she said laying her recliner back. "Yes got it now... What's wrong your quiet", I said regret asking that this bitch only talks about herself.

"Oh it's nothing major", she said sitting up and I smiled at her. "But if you insist", she said continuing, "That Anniyah girl, she took my spot light over night. I mean I don't really like Santo. But this hoe is getting all the boys attention... I peeped that he was digging her style alittle so I keep Santo close.. Am I playing the right or am I just lost in the mix?", she said taking a deep breath.

"I will say I'm pretty surprised  at how your handling the situation.. Your playing the game perfectly. Keep what she wants close, the faster she'll give up on him.", I said telling her truthfully. I guess she figured I'm playing the same game as her.. But with this girl intelligence I doubt she could do it. Her grammar is worst then a two year old.

I heard the front door open and she said thanked me for the talk and headed downstairs. I think we could be good friends.

Anniyah Pov...

I was just walking around the neighborhood. It was real quiet around here. I circled the block about two times and headed back for the house.

I saw Santo in his car and he looked high as fuck too. He mouthed for me to get in the car. I mouthed back asking why and he opened the passenger side door not leaving me a choice. I got in and it was just quiet.

"Why are we sitting in a car", I asked him as he looked liked he was daydreaming and he sighed. "I wanted to finish our conversation from yesterday... It's just a good place to talk..", he said looking out the window as it got quiet again.

" Where you from?", he said starting the car. "Where are we going", I said eyeing him as he looked at me and licked his lips.

"Relax, to look at the city lights.. So where are you from", he said pulling out the drive way.

"No where really.. Being a military kid always on the move, but I spent half of my life in New York", I said looking out the window as we entered the city. The lights were so beautiful, it reminded me of New York of how the billboards lit up. We rode around the city alittle longer talking to get to know each other.

"That was fun",  he said as we pulled back into the driveway. "Yea it was.. Can I ask you another question", I said getting out the car. He stook his hands into his pockets and nodded his head.

"Wassup with you and TJ", he thought about it for a minute before he answered. "She just wants all the attention on her. Ever since you got here she just wanted all my attention. She doesn't like me I know that for sure...  She got issues", he said laughing as I joined in.

I tripped over something and he caught me, ceasing our laughing. We looked into each other eyes as he leaned in. And then he stopped.

" I think I should be going", he said helping me stand up right. "Um yea... See you tomorrow", I said with my hand on the door knob. " Yea, see you tomorrow ", he said getting into his car driving to his hotel room and I walked inside the house to take a shower and go to bed.
