Chapter Ten

Chresanto Pov...

I was sleep but I cracked my eyes to the slap I felt across my face. I open my eyes and looked over at Ari who was staring at me. I turned on my side to face her and closed my eyes again. The slap came again, but I didn't budge. Then I felt a whole bunch of drool come down on my face.

"Ari, really? If you wanted daddy to play with you, you could've asked.", I said sitting up and wiping the drool off my face. She smiled at me, she was a happy baby.

I grabbed her and went to change her diaper, while CJ and Niy were still sleeping. After, I changed her diaper I went to kitchen to fix her a bottle. I put her in her little swing and fixed her bottle and one for CJ when he wakes up.

I sat the bottles on the table and I picked up Ari and started feeding her. I look over to see Anniyah coming with CJ. She looked depressed and she grabbed the bottle and started feeding him.

"Good morning", I said to her she didn't even look my direction or say anything. "You have to say something, sooner or later", she looked at me and the twins.

"H-how are you going to act like this doesn't affect you? It's driving me crazy and your just perfect, because nobody hates you. You don't what it feels like to hurt..", she said a little above a whisper.

"It is affecting me, but we got them back and as long they're safe, I'm worry free. It doesn't matter who likes you or not you have people like me that love." She shook her head and looked down at CJ. I sighed as I got up and headed to the room. I grabbed my phone and dialed a number.

Kashmir- We just got off the plane will be over there soon.

Santo- Hurry did you bring her?

Kashmir- Yes, is she talking yet?

Santo- She only talked once so far.. That's better than nothing, right?

Kashmir- NO!! If she's not having a full blown conversation I'm a beat yo ass...

Anniyah Pov...

I was laying down on the couch when I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door revealing Kori, Kobi, Prod, Kash, their daughter Caria, and my mom. My heart dropped at the sight of my mom. I moved to the side to let them in.

"Anniyah, I missed you princess", my mom said pulling me into a hug. I hugged her as tight as I could, I haven't seen my mom in a long time. I let go and Kash pulled me into a hug.

"Niy, you can talk to me, you know.. I'll always be your best friend", she whispered into my ear. I cracked a smile and wiped my tears. I sat down and everything went silent. Then Santo walked in.

"Hey everybody", he said walking in with the twins. "Oh my gosh give me", my mom said taking them. It got quite again, and Kash cleared her throat and my mom stood up.

"Everybody leave the room besides Niy, Kobi, and Kori." They left and she she started talking. "What's going on between you three?"

"Nothing wrong with Ja'Kori Ajay Meadows. Kori been doing Kori.. It's those two beefing because of La'Shonda manipulated Gemini. Remember?" She looked at me and Kobi. "We're getting to that.. I mean with you and your father?"

"Our dad is brainwashed by La'Shonda... He never met the twins, because I wouldn't get an a-abortion when she convinced him I wasn't r-ready", I stuttered out with tears. I felt Kobi and Kori comfort me. I missed them being there when I'm down.

"I haven't talked to our dad since we moved here and La'Shonda told him to kick me out because I tried to come on to her... Don't nobody want that walking lollipop", Kori said. Me and Kobi started laughing, I think this is the closest we all ever been.

"Kori find some sense... What about you Kobi?", my asked and it got quiet again. Our dad and Kobi never got along but they dealt with each other.

"Uh.. Um... The last time I talked to Gregory was when I heard his wife threaten my daughter and he sided with her."

"All your problems deal with La'Shonda.. He needs to check that bitch because if I see her I'm a beat her ass."

"Really, our dad was growing on us after he stepped up after our mom died, I guess her dying fr cancer woke him up", Kori said shaking his head. My mom got up and walked behind the couch.

"Boys, I'm sorry but your mom didn't die from cancer.. I think it's time you learn the real truth, La'Shonda killed you mom..."

Gemini Pov...

"Mommy, someone's at the door.", Karizma said. I grabbed her as I walked to the door. I opened it and I saw a girl with an ombré color hair.

"Who are you?"

"Um, I'm an old friend of the family. Is Kobi around?"

"I never saw you at any of the family reunions. He nots here and he never mentioned you so?"

"Of course he didn't but he'll remember me. I just talked to his brother and sister. Can I come in?"

"Mommy, she's friends with the bad lady.. She was in the car with her", Karizma whispered in my ear.

I held her tighter and started to close the door. She stook her foot in the door and shook her head. I grabbed the glass next to me and slammed it into her head. I ran into my bedroom and dialed 911.

" Here talk to them and tell them what's going on okay. Stay in here, Mommy loves you", I said giving her the phone and kissing her head.

I locked the door and saw the girl missing. Then I fell down by someone pushing me. I tripped her and she fell on top of me and I flipped us. I was punching her in the face and she kicked me back. I got up and saw the police outside but I felt a glass break on my head and everything went black.
