As time rolled by, the hours began to turn into days, and the days began to turn into months.

Her Majesty has acquired a new pawn in the little game of hers. A maiden fair, with hair as white as freshly fallen snow and eyes of a shining emerald blue, she was named as the Queen's Winter Rose.

It seemed only fitting, did it not? With a face of an Angel and color of her hair, it seemed perfect. Life was perfect.

But every rose has it's thorns.

Yuki was the fair maidens name, a simple name for an extraordinarily beautiful girl.

With one look in her eyes, men would fall to their knees and sing her praises of her beauty. The woman, by now, was well known around England's well respected Lords and Ladies. Many have tried to propose marriages to the Queen, asking permission for the fair maiden's hand.

But of course they would all be denied, no matter how wealthy the home or honorable the name. Why would the Queen give away the one thing in her life that brings her peace? She won't let anybody pluck her Winter Rose from her garden, and cause her to wilt in their greedy hands. She was her loyal servant, and no one can take her away.

The Queen treated her Winter Rose like a Princess; Like she was her daughter. With only the loveliest of gowns, all with the color white in them and often many times with the color of gold, a stunning bedroom, and personal maids, Yuki lives the life style of a goddess.

Who wouldn't like to live like Yuki? She's beautiful, smart, and practically considered a princess, she's adored by all. But no one has in fact met her face to face.

Until now.
