Serena's Last Wish

Chapter 4

Ash's POV

It's been a while since I told Gary that I asked Serena on a date. We decided that we would go today which made me really nervous. He then told me that we were going to a party so dress formally. I went to go inform Serena.

"Hey Serena?"

"Yes Ash?"

"I just wanted to tell you that we will be going on a double date with Gary and his girlfriend today. And we're going to a party so dress formally."

"O-Ok, I'll get ready."

I can't believe this is really happening. I feel so nervous but at the same time, I feel like something bad is going to happen. I'm not quite sure what will happen but I can feel it. I took a shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. I brushed my hair then got out the bathroom. When I got out, I saw Serena waiting patiently on her bed.

"You can go now."

"Alright." She got up and walked to bathroom. For some reason when she passed me, I got nervous. Well, I was half naked in front of her. I grabbed my tuxedo out of my closet and tried it on. It still fits me which is great. I put on my hat next and went to the living room to watch some cartoons with Bonnie. An hour later, Serena came out. She had an amazing pink dress and a bow in her hair (see image above). She looked beautiful.

"Serena! You look amazing!" Bonnie screamed.

"Thank you Bonnie. What do you think Ash?"

I was speechless. I felt like I was stuck in a trance. She was beautiful, amazing, gorgeous, and any other synonyms for beautiful. How did I get a girl like her to go on a journey with me?

"Ash? Are you ok?"

I shook my head to stop staring at her. "You look b-beautiful."

I can tell she was blushing when she was hiding her face.

"S-so are you ready to go?" I asked.

"Yep, I'm ready." But before we left, Serena took of my hat and looked at my hair. Then, she messed up hair which returned back to normal look.

"Why did you do that?" I asked.

"You look better like that." She replied.

"Alright. Clement, I'm leaving my pokemons with you."

"Me too."

"Ok, you guys have fun." Clement said.

As we left the apartment, we looked around for Gary and heard someone yell. I turned around and saw him with a girl with orange hair. She looked familiar. Wait, is that Misty? They walked over to us. It was Misty. She looked the same though.

"Is that Ash?" Misty asked.

"Misty! Long time no see!" We hugged each other. "How have you been? How's the gym?"

"I've been great. The gym is under construction so I've been spending time with Professor Oak and your pokemons. That's how I met Gary."

"Oh yeah!" I forgot to introduce my friends to each other. "Serena, this is Gary and Misty. Gary and Misty, this is Serena."

"You look familiar..." Gary said.

"Don't you remember when Serena was missing in the forest and I was chasing that Poliwag?"

"Oh yeah and you found her and you guys were holding hands!"

Serena and I both blushed. I can tell she had a flashback to that day when I helped her back to the campsite.
