Closet

You're at home with your boyfriend, Adam, and you're trying to clean out your closet...

"Are you done?" Adam asks for the hundredth time, peering into your room from the doorway.
"As I said three minutes ago, I am not done," you reply, stifling a laugh.
"But I want to snuggle. When are you going to be done?" he whines, coming into the room. You fold one of your shirts slowly, enjoying the way Adam impatiently waits beside you.
"Soon," you reply after a moment. "I'll finish sooner if you help me."
"Can't you take a break?"
"You're saying it wrong," you reply, a smile forming on your face.
"What?"
"You have to say "brek" not break," you laugh, mimicking his accent.
"Fine. When can you taek a brek?" he snorts, trying not to laugh. 
"That's bettah," you reply. "Sometime. Mhmm. Yeah, I don't know when."
"Oh come on," he whines, stepping behind you before lifting you up.
"Hey!" you complain as he sweeps you off your feet and starts carrying you out of the room. "Adam fucking Gontier! Let me down!"
"No," he replies, carrying you down the stairs and into the living room.
"My closet!" you whine. "It's a mess."
"It can wait. I can't," he says, dropping you gently on the couch.
"Adam—"
You're cut off as he practically falls on top of you, making you squeal.
"Fuck!" you laugh as he wraps his arms around you, pulling you into his chest. He throws his leg over both of yours, trapping you between his warm body and the back of the couch.
"That's better," he says contentedly, burying his face in your hair.
"Now we're going to fall asleep, and my closet will remain a mess," you point out, your words muffled as you speak against his chest.
"Your closet isn't going to run away. We can deal with it whenever," he responds lazily.
"I swear to god, Adam," you laugh, making him chuckle. "You're so fucking annoying. But you're still cute."
"I know."
You snort at his response before sighing and getting more comfortable in his arms.
"I love you," he says after a moment.
"Mmm." You smile before replying, "I love you, too."
