Satsuki listened at every word the Hokage said. He spoke of her coming from a long lost Clan---the Matsumoto Clan that and been extinct long ago, a clan that only existed in legends. And he claims she belonged to this clan, because she has the same Family name. Originally she thought him senile, but when he explained that the clan had the ability or 'kekai genkai' to cross or manipulate dimensions---she was all ears.

He showed her evidence, relics belonging to the Clan from the pages of books and scrolls from the Konoha Archives, and there it was, the insignia engraved on both her swords.

What more proof does she need?

"You belong to this World, Satsuki." He told her, certainty in his voice. "And if you'd like to be a ninja---I believe you'll be a fine kunoichi, I would train you myself--I see you have great potential." He added, and she looked at him surprised at his offer.

She opened her mouth to speak but she didn't know what to say, she didn't want to say yes and back down half way through. She was never one to commit halfheartedly, when she does commit she tend to drive herself into oblivion.

The Hokage saw her inner battle, "Think about it. There's no rush." He said, and she nodded thanking him before she left. She walked home pondering on the idea---she needed to think it over.

"Hokage-sama, are you certain about this?" Ibiki asked, entering. He had been listening to their conversation. "Did you see what she did to those rogue ninja's Ibiki?" Sarutobi asked, "Yes." Ibiki answered unsure, they were simply killed in the fastest way possible. "Shinobi's who bore witness spoke of how she moved with precision---so fast, it reminded them of the Yellow flash, one moment she was there the next she wasn't. She moved in such speed, that those rogue ninja's died before they can even form a seal." The Hokage explained. "It is the infamous blood limit of the Matsumoto clan---the ability to cross dimensions. I think, that it wasn't Madara that sent her here. I think, its her own power that sent her to the very Gates of Konoha." Sarutobi said, watching the young woman walk in the distance through his window.

"Naruto, why do you want to be a shinobi?" Satsuki asked, while the two walked home after eating at Ichiraku's. "So I can be Hokage! When I become Hokage, everyone will acknowledge me!" Naruto said with a huge grin on his face. "Tell me, how is the Ninja Academy treating you?" She asked, slightly concerned. "Iruka-sensei is nice-- and he treats me to Ramen sometimes." Naruto said, not wanting to mention the other kids being mean to him.

"Do you think, I'll be a good Ninja?" Satsuki thought out loud a question meant for her grandfather, as she stared at the night sky. Naruto looked up at the sky as well, and said, "I think you'll be a great Ninja, Suki-nee." He said with as much certainty his small body could express, causing Satsuki to turn to him, the two stopped reaching his complex. She smiled down at him, and gave him a peck on the cheek. "I'll do my best." She promised.

The second Satsuki entered the Hokage's office she had noticed the number of Jounin's in the scene. Most of all, she noticed the bored Copy Ninja with his hands in his pockets. Everyone turned to look at her, and it both annoyed and intimidated her.

"Satsuki! I knew you'd show up, soon enough." The Hokage said, stopping their meeting for a second to acknowledge her presence. A smile was on his face. "Of course, that ANBU following me around told you." She said, causing Sarutobi's smile to widen, so, she knew.

"Bring this to Iruka-sensei." The Hokage said, handing a scroll to Satsuki while everyone watched the exchange. "I thought you said--" Satsuki frowned, "I did, but I'm a bit busy as you can see. He'll teach you the basics." The Hokage insisted, pointing at the door for her to take her leave immediately before she even changed her mind.

"Crap." Satsuki muttered to herself as she made her way towards the Academy. Did he actually want her to go to ninja school with a bunch of teenagers?

She strolled in the school, and found the Iruka's classroom, she knocked and a man a few years her senior opened the sliding door and stepped out, he looked at her in surprise. "I'm Satsuki Matsumoto, the Hoka--" she started, "Yes! I-- thought you'd be ..." Iruka interrupted, then suddenly lost for words. "Younger." She provided, earning a sheepish look from the sensei.

"Is there any way--- we could??" she was lost for words, "My class would be over in a few minutes, if you don't mind waiting?" Iruka asked,

"Not at all." She said. 15minues later, kids went out and Iruka gestured for her to come in. "The Hokage had spoken fondly of you. He said, you arrived from another town---and your village didn't have any shinobi's in it?" Iruka trailed, lost at who she actually was due to the limited information the Hokage had provided. "Yes. We don't have shinobi's from where I came from." Satsuki said.

"And you want to become a kunoichi?" Iruka asked doing his best not to sound rude. "Yeah---I know, its late." Satsuki admitted. "Well, there's always hope!"Iruka exclaimed, a blush creeping on his cheeks when she smiled back at him. Satsuki sure appreciated his optimism.

"So, we should start with the basics. Do you know Taijutsu? Genjutsu? Ninjutsu?" Iruka asked, "yes, I read about it in advance." She said, "lets start with Taijutsu then." He said, ushering her towards the back of the school for a sparring match.

"Hokage-sama, who was that?" Asuma asked curiously, he had seen the woman walking a few times in the market and had eyed her appreciatively like the rest of the men in Konoha, she had that perfect amount of hips--and her legs were long and slender. Her face too was a knocker, though she was rarely seen with a smile.

"Satsuki Matsumoto, a new member of Konoha--I'll be taking her under my wing for training." Sarutobi said, earning curious looks from everyone, most were impressed but Kakashi was far intrigued to know what she did to deserve such opportunity. The last time he saw her was when he brought her bag and katana's to her apartment.
"Oh--what rank is she in?" Asuma asked curiously, he had not seen her with a hitai ate. So, he previously assumed her a civilian. "She has no rank at the moment." Sarutobi confessed, then getting back to business, and ignoring everyone's obvious confusion.

"Wow." Iruka said the second he accepted Satsuki's hand, she pulled him up from his position on the ground and the two took a breather. "Now I see why the Hokage said you have great potential. You're taijutsu is impeccable. Better than mine. Who trained you?" Iruka said, wiping his sweat with the sleeve of his shirt.

"I had a number of sensei's, from where I came from your taijutsu is a combination of different fighting styles." Satsuki said, "Fighting styles?" Iruka wondered.

"Aikido, Hapkido, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, etcetera." Satsuki said, doing a specific move with each fighting technique.

Iruka smiled, maybe, just maybe it wasn't too late for her to become a ninja.
