"The Governor?" Rick questioned, taking a seat opposite to where Selena was getting treated. The old chair creaked under his weight, a break in the silence which suddenly fell over the room.

The girl sighed, using her free hand to push her hair back from her face. Reluctantly she nodded her head, "I'd been following him for a while-"

At Daryl's look of 'Are you crazy?!', Selena chuckled slightly. "Sorry about that."

Rick shook his head. "We'll deal with that later. Why were you following him?"

Selena softly shrugged. "I saw some of his men in the woods and they had a few boxes of supplies with them. I thought I could steal a few for us when they turned around. But I didn't see the other guy show up. It was pretty obvious he was in charge. Everyone just seemed to follow everything he demanded."

Rick nodded his head, noting every word which she said.

"He spotted me and fired his gun. Which is how I got this." She nods her head to the cut on her arm.

Thinking for a moment, Rick stayed silent as Ali and Hershel continued to quietly discuss how deep the wound may be and how they should treat it.

"Hey." Rick's voice drew their attention. "Can I speak to you for a second?"

His brown eyes were locked with Ali's and the worry swimming in them gave away his every thought to her.

"Of course!"

With that, the two left to find a private room where they could talk without being interrupted.

Once they found an empty cell far away from the others, they slipped inside. Immediately Ali explained what her and Hershel had been discussing. "The wound is pretty deep but isn't life threatening. But, without proper antiseptics and bandages, she's exposed to infection which can be deadly. We need to go on a run as soon as possible."

Rick nodded his head. "But now we have the problem of the Governor. We don't know where he's based or how many men he has. They could just be a group trying to survive or they might be a massive team and out number us. It's far too dangerous."

"I understand that." Ali moved to take a seat on the metal bed frame within the room. It was uncomfortable but she was glad for the rest. "But we need the supplies Rick. We can't survive with just what we have now, never-mind Ann's injury."

Rick sighed, thinking over what was best. Finally, he came to his sense and nodded his head. "You're right. We need to make a run."

TWO HOURS LATER

"Here we are!" Rick announced as he stopped the car directly in front of the entrance to an empty supermarket which the group had scouted out a few weeks ago.

Ali nodded her head, stepping out of the car and immediately looking around for any threats which may have them in their sights. However, she was greeted with abandoned streets.

Knocking twice on the window to signal it was clear, she was soon joined by Rick, Carl
and Belle (Carl's best friend).

Rick and Ali both held weapons in their grasp, ready to use at any moment (Ali's being a wooden baseball bat which Maggie had picked up for her a few weeks back).

Making their way to the entrance of the large building, Rick knocked on the door a four sharp times and they all waited for something to appear. However, after a few minutes, nothing came out so they proceeded to enter the building. After checking each isle and making sure everywhere was secure, they split off, all in search of different things.

Rick headed for the drinks isles; silently praying for there to still be bottles of water for them to take.

Carl headed for the food isles in search of anything edible for the group.

Molly headed for the clothing isles to find new items for the group as they were running extremely low on clothes.

Lastly, Leah headed for the small pharmacy located in the back corner of the store.

A trolley was pulled behind her, the wheels squeaking with every turn they made. However, it soon stopped as she reached her destination and let the trolley rest against the counter as she began searching for any medication left.

This carried on for a while (each of the members looking for their specific resources) before a scream suddenly ripped through the air making Ali drop the plastic container which she had picked up.

There was a moment of silence which seemed to stretch for eternity before Carl's voice finally rang out. "Belle?"

Without warning, a gunshot echoed throughout the store. This seemed to push Ali into action as she grabbed the trolley and rushed to the entrance of the store.

Rick and Carl were already there. The older had his gun raised, looked down each isle as he waited to see if the threat would present itself.

"You seen Belle?" Rick questioned.

Ali shook her head as her and Carl shoved all of the supplies they had scavenged into one cart instead of them being in three.

"Belle?" Rick called out her name. However, silence was his response.

"What do we do?" Ali questioned, readying her own weapon incase of ambush.

"She was just by my side and then-" Carl began to explain was suddenly he was cut off by a metal tin rolling to his feet. Smoke began pouring from it and consequently blinding them. The three began coughing and yelling to one another to try and keep together.

When the smoke finally lifted, Rick's heart dropped when he didn't see Ali by their side. He began shouting her name in hopes that she would magically appear. However, that never happened, leaving the two Grimes boys in utter confusion as to what had happened.

"They're gone."
