Grocery Shopping and Pancakes

"Do you think we should wake them up?"

"I don't know."

"Louis! Don't!"

SPLASH!

I woke up in a bolt. Apparently, Louis was spilling slime onto our heads. A dare from May. Thanks a lot. I looked around. Everyone had really confused faces until I realized I was smashing Liam's body! I stood up.

"Haha you guys fell asleep together!" May exclaimed.

"Um, he was just comforting me... Besides, we're brother and sister, May..." I explained, rubbing my eyes. How awkward.

"In what sort of way?" Hanna asked, shockingly.

Liam was apparently listening. "Hanna, it really wasn't serious. We just mended some tensions."

"Okay..."

"Breakfast is ready!" Niall chuckled.

"Why are we having breakfast at 9 P.M.?" Liam asked.

Niall shrugged.

I was starting to wonder if Niall cared about me.

Niall's POV:

I made pancakes to get my mind off of Ash. She was so cute, cuddling with Liam. I had listened to their conversation while making breakfast. It was kind of cute to see her rubbing her eyes. I wanted to tell her she had makeup all over her eyes, but she probably didn't care.

"Does anyone want chocolate chips with their pancakes?" I asked.

I counted 8 people wanting chocolate chips, including me.

I knew Ash. I knew she was afraid of Liam. Maybe she wasn't afraid anymore.

Everyone sat at the table. I called Louis over to help set the table.

"Thanks for helping again, lad." I told him.

"No problem, mate." He smiled and set the table like I asked him to.

Everyone was mostly silent. 

"Where are you guys from?" Harry asked. Where did they come from?

"We are from Arizona. There isn't anything interesting. It's basically desert and all of that junk." May explained.

"Oh." He said.

"I want to visit!" Harry said with a wink.

"You most certainly can, but only stay for a day. There's nothing special about Arizona." Shaye sighed.

I noticed Ashlyn wasn't talking at all. What was her deal?

Ashlyn's POV

Niall's pancakes were DE-LISH. Especially with chocolate chips. Later, after breakfast, Hanna, Shaye, May, and I decided to go back to our hotel room.

"Do I look bad?" I asked Hanna, pointing to my face.

"Your makeup smeared." She told me.

"Thank you. I'll fix it when we get to our room." I assured her.

When we arrived, I headed for the bathroom to take off my smeared makeup. She was right; I did look bad. 

Suddenly, I heard music.

"You are my treasure, you are my treasure, you are my treasure, yeah you, you, you, you are." May sang. 

I laughed and sang along. 

Then I heard a familiar booming laugh. Niall. What were the boys doing here?

When I finished taking off my makeup, I saw all the boys and girls except me dancing like monkeys. I headed to the kitchen to grab a snack when I realized we didn't have any.

"Who wants to come with me to go shopping?" I asked.

"Me!" Hanna volunteered,

"Me!" Niall exclaimed.

I sighed and explained to Niall, "If you're coming with me to go grocery shopping, you better not embarrass me." 

"I won't..." Niall sighed.

I smiled at him.

"Can you buy me some candy?" He asked.

"No." I said.

He gave me the lost puppy look, but I didn't give in.

We walked to the parking garage. Niall said he would let me drive their black van. I was excited! I could ride the One Direction van!

I asked Niall to help me find my way around town, because we arrived today.

I told them, "After this, I'm going to bed. I'm exhausted."

"Me too." Agreed Hanna.

Niall didn't have much expression in his face or eyes, so he just looked out of the window.

"Niall, you told me you would help me!" I complained.

"Oh, sorry Ashlyn." He said my full name. Weird.

"There's a Safeway on Peanut Lane. Just turn left."

"Okay." I followed his instructions and we arrived.

"Shoot! The store's hours say that it ends at ten!" I told Hanna.

"Well, we're just going to have to hurry.

"Relax, we can also come back tomorrow, guys." Niall said.

"Okay." I said, calming down.

I grabbed cereal off of the shelf. Next I took two big bags of chips (Niall said that they were running low). I grabbed some ingredients for dinner and headed to the cash register.

I grabbed a King Size Kitkat (my favorite candy). I would have to share with Niall because he told me he hadn't tried it.

Hanna grabbed a big Hershey's bar for her and Liam to split as well. I found it odd that my brother was falling in love with one of my best friends.

We bought everything and headed home as fast as we could. The faster we got home the longer I had to sleep. 

We finally arrived at home. We convinced Shaye and Harry to split up and sleep (They were liking each other's company). 

When I finally put on my pajamas, I could settle into my bed. I thought about how incredibly event-packed my day was.
