The next few days were a blur Kristen came over almost every day to meet by the river. One day after school we were playing down by the river and Kristen slipped, fell into the river, and started to drown. I started to have flashbacks of Serena when the incident happened. Then I snapped out of it and thought I can't let this happen again. I dove straight into the water without a second thought in my head. I grabbed Kristen's body pulled her straight out of the water and carried her to my house.
My mom hurried straight away and took her to the hospital, there she called Kristen's parents who immediately were on their way. Kristen had to stay in the hospital overnight. Then the doctor came in with test results. "From the test we did it seems that Kristen has hypothermia" said the doctor.
"That can't be the case."
"Yes she was in the cold to long especially with being wet" the doctor said.
"Hello?" Kristen said out of nowhere.
"Kristen?"
"What happened" she stated with worry.
"You fell into the river when we wer-."
"Get away from our daughter!" Mr and Mrs Walker screeched.
"I want you to stay away from my daughte-.
"Dad just stop can you!" Kristen somewhat screamed.
"No Kristen he's right I better go."
