Chapter Six: firsts

"Hayden, where are you taking me?" I question.

Hayden decided, against my brother wishes, to take me out on a date. And I, also against my brothers wishes decided to accept.

"You'll have to wait and see me little mate." He smiles.

"Ugh you're so not nice." I pout.

"Yeah I know and you have to put up with me." He laughs sticking his tongue out at me.

"Have I told you I hate surprises?" I state.

"Yes, 76 times in counting." He laughs again.

I pout and look out the window as we drive down the road. I stare out the window as we travel further and further into the forest.

"You aren't some psycho killer who wants to murder me in the middle of the woods are you?" I question with a hint of laughter.

"Honey, if I killed you I'd die with you and I want to spend a long, happy life with you, my little mate, and have you carry my pups." He tells me.

Awe!

He is so fucking sweet!!

"Carter, will you continue to go against your brother just for me?" Hayden asks, breaking the silence.

"Forever and always." I smile at him.

I look out the window again as the truck starts to slow down. I see what look like Christmas lights strung along the trees and I see a picnic table with food and things in it.

"Oh my god!" I squeal.

"You like?" He asks jumping out of the truck and making his way to open the door for me.

I step out and we make out way over to the table and smile as we sit down.

"You know what, this is actually my first ever date." I smile at him.

"Really?" He asks, sounding surprised.

"Yeah, then again it's not surprising considering the way Axel is and the whole fact that I'm the alpha's daughter. Plus I wanted to save all my firsts for my mate. I'm also only 15 years old so... Yeah." I babble.

"Really? I get to be all you firsts?" He asks with happiness present in his tone and eyes.

"Every song first." I smile back.

Okay, I'm actually really starting to fall in love with this boy. He's just so damn perfect in my mind. He's perfectly amazing.

"Okay, Carter, tell me some things about you." He says while taking a sip of his water.

"Okay, well, my name is Carter Brook Harper. I am 15 years old, turning 16 actually in a week, I adore tight knit families and I can't wait to have my own pups when I get older. Um, my family means everything to me and I'm an extreme prankster, along with all my girls, and so if you end up on my bad side at any point of our time together, I'd watch out. My father had me trained just like my brothers in fear that something could happen to his little girl and my favourite colour is blue." I tell him. I honestly wonder if he retained all that though.

"Okay let's see if I got all that," he laughs putting down the cup. "Carter Brook Harper, you're 15, 16 in a week, you can't wait to have my pups, you're a pro prankster and you're trained like a male alpha." He replays.

"And my favourite colour is--" be fore I can finish he cuts me off.

"Blue." He smiles.

He, is truly amazing, I don't think even my own mother could have picked up on all that.

I can't wait to spend my whole life with him, if my brother doesn't screw everything up.

"He won't. I promise." Hayden says, reading my mind.

"How often are you in my mind?" I ask.

"Not often, just when you basically scream things at me." He says.

"Uhm hum." I say, not believing what he says.

"Id never lie to you." He states.

"Yeah, we'll see." I say getting up and walking into the forest.

"Hey! What's that suppose to mean?'" He tell running after me.

I look behind and see him running towards me and I myself take off running deeper into the forest.

"Catch me if you can." I shout through the forest.

And I start to run at full speed.

Catch me if you can, mate O' mine.
