Question : how do I tell my mom I'm bisexual?
Shelli's Advice : There are multiple answers for this so choose the one you feel is best for you. Also, if you are a guy just switch the genders.
For someone who is saying their bi because it's the "in" thing to do.
Believe it or not, yes there comes a point in someone's life where every girl they know is bi curious. This is what we call being influenced by your peers. If you're just saying it to not feel left out or cool, just stop. Being fake isn't something that's look highly upon and when you're older you'll just hate your younger self. Be who you are and if you like dick then do be afraid to say so.
For someone who thinks they are bisexual, but think it might be a faze.
If you honestly think it is a faze then I wouldn't go through all the trouble with telling people. Maybe you should try having a relationship with a girl and see if this is really for you. Your mind could be like "Yeah, girls. They're hot!" then when you get yourself into a certain situation your body would be like "Yeah, this is totally not for me. BAIL!!!" now you find yourself in an awkward situation where you have to explain to someone that probably cares about you that you just aren't into them like that. Now don't get me wrong, going through this faze isn't wrong or weird. Quite a few girls kind of get that curious tendency. So don't feel like you're weird if you have these feelings then they go away.
For someone who is bi, but doesn't have an open relationship with their mother.
If you don't have an open relationship with your mother, or parents then if it were me I would avoid this subject until you are self sufficient. But it really depends on how you two act around each other. Try dropping little hints or conversation starters like "Hey I guess :insert friends name here" told her parents she was bi. How crazy is that?" And base if you'll tell them or not on their answer.
For someone who is bi and has a good and open relationship with their mother.
Well this one's easy. Again, just drop hints and comments about a friend being bi and base it off of that. But I'm sure if you guys are open with each other then there shouldn't be any issue with you coming out to them.
