Jeanine: you lied to the officer, and i already know that you don't like it when i'm with you whenever your with Zach!
Me: sorr-
Jeanine: Your not acting like yourself anymore! I miss the old Eva! What happened to her?!
Me: I'm sorry! ok?! this train ride has been making us crazy and-
Jeanine: It's making you crazy not me
I leave without saying anything because...well....she was right! I run outside the barn after Winston comes back in with his backpack. I felt like crying, I was so upset. I'm so stupid for doing this trip anyway! My parents haven't even called me or noticed I was gone for the past 8 days! I reach in my pocket and pull out the stupid key Winston gave me. It's worthless! I throw it on the ground. Then I throw myself onto the ground, because i'm worthless too.
"hey, psst! Little girl, wake up!"
"Is she dead?"
"No, i see her breathing, i'm just not sure she's awake"
I can't see anything, just black. all black. Then, the black slowly fades away and i see the barn again, but with people walking into the train, with three people around me. Was I asleep? Did I faint? When I sit up, my back hurts really bad. It cracks loudly. The people around me grit their teeth knowing that must've hurt, and it did.
"Whats happening?" I say
One of the women looks at me and says, "Well, you've been asleep out here for a few days, the train is working now, and we are all boarding on, we found your luggage, I think, is your name Eva Westfield?"
"Yes it is, Wait, how many days was I out?" I reply
"I'd say about....4 days"
" Oh crap!" I say
I quickly grab my luggage and run into the Train
"Jeanine! Jeanine!" I shout repeatingly .
When I find her in her seat looking out the window with her luggage, I sit beside her
"Jeanine, I'm so so so sorry, you have no idea. I care about you so much, i'm so stupid for making you go on this trip with me, i'm sorry please forgive me. She looks over her shoulder to see me, and hugs me.
"I forgive you" she says
I smile and hug her back
When we pull apart, the train conductor says over the loud speaker:
" ladies and gentlemen, due to the new engine of our train, The time to reach Manhattan will shorten"
Everyone smiles
The train moves and Jeanine and I are back on the adventure of our Train Air.
