Jamie's pov
I woke up earlier and got dressed as breakfast and ran right over to Schroeders pov
house I got there and knocked on the door "come in" Schroeder said I walked in to his house he was lying on his couch watching cartoons he looked a little sad about something I sat down beside him "Schroeder what's up " I said as I put my head on his shoulder "it's nothing Jamie "he said as tears started to build up in his eyes "Schroeder please tell me what's wrong I promise I won't make fun of you for it I'm here for you " I said as i wiped the tears from his eyes "oh it's just I found out that my dad has " he said he couldn't finish his sentence he broke out in tears I hugged him tightly he started to hyperventilate "Schroeder calm down its okay tell me what happened " I said still hugging him "okay so my mom called me this morning and said that last night my dad got home from the doctors and told her that the doctors said he has a disease that has no cure and he may only a few months to live " he said trying not to cry again "Schroeder I'm so sorry is there anything I can do for you " I said "no just can you spend the whole day with me " he said as he put his arm around me "sure thing Schro " I said as I turned on the tv and snuggled into his chest we watched cartoons in silence till out of no where Schroeder said "I love you Jamie " as he kissed my forehead "shut up you know I love you to Schroeder " I said giving him a kiss on the cheek "no Jamie I'm not joking I actually love you like I want you to date me I know you're dating David but I don't care I still want you to be mine all mine Jamie " he said as he brought me on to his lap "oh Schroeder I honestly don't know what to say I'm not sure who is my soul mate but I know one thing it is either you or David " I said as I put my arms around Schroeder's neck giving him a kiss he kissed me right back he pushed me down so he was on top "Jamie can we lay like this ?" He asked me still on top of me "sure Schro whatever makes you happy " I said pulling him on top of me we laid there for a little while before I got a text from Matt saying

"Hey Schroeder " "yeah Jamie what's up " "I have to go home I'm so sorry that I has to leave but you know Matt if I'm gone for to long he starts to worry bye " I said as he got off me and gave me a kiss I walked back home and saw Matt coming down stairs I yelled at him "what the fuck Matt why the hell were you spying on me and my best friend that's just fucking creepy "sorry Jamie but I came downstairs to get a snack and saw you two lying on his couch kissing and shit you can't do that to David he loves you " Matt said to me trying not to get mad at me for doing that stuff with Schroeder when I'm dating David "Matt I know but " I was cut off "but nothing Jamie finn sohinki go to your room " Matt yelled at me "no Matt I will not go to my room "what did you just say " Matt said as he. Clenched his fist "you heard me Matthew your not dad you can't tell me what I can and cannot do " I yelled running up the stairs into my room I threw myself onto my bed and grabbed my pillow and started crying I just couldn't take it anymore the pain the confusion I just couldn't go on I ran to my bathroom grabbed my broken razor and went over the toilet I hadn't cut in 5 years almost 6 years I was about to put the blade on my skin when I heard a loud yell "STOP " I looked at my bathroom door to see Matt "Jamie please don't I'm sorry I yelled I know I'm not dad but your my little sister I need to protect you I know you can fend for yourself but please don't " Matt said coming over to me and giving me a massive brother hug and a noggie "Matt let go " I said as I tried to break the hug "okay James " Matt said as he let go we walked out of the bathroom I handed him the razor blade and kissed him good night and went to bed
Matts pov
I fee so bad it was my fault that Jamie tried to do that I told mom and dad that I would protect her I don't want anything bad to happen to her I went downstairs threw the blade out and went over to the fridge crabbed some water drank it and went back upstairs to my room and went to sleep thinking I really hope Jamie is okay and knows how much I love her
