Jamie's pov

I woke up at about 9:30 and David was still asleep so I got my clothes on did my makeup and my hair and left a note for David that said

Gone to hang with one of my friends for the day text me if you need me be home before 10 tonight love you babe -Jamie

I started driving to Schroeders he's always Up by now anyways I got to his house and saw his car in the driveway so I knew he was home I parked my car and went up to the door steps and knocked on the door Schroeder opened the door and as soon as he saw me his face dropped form his usual smile to a frown

"What do you want Jamie "he said annoyed what's up his ass today he's always happy with me

"Schroeder I just wanted to see if you were okay I haven't seen you a while I missed you " I said giving him a weak smile

"Oh let me guess you and your precious boyfriend got into a fight so you come crying to me because I'm always here for you the guy that still loves you but you won't ever love cause you're in love with someone else don't you realize how much that hurts me Jamie do you !" He said raising his voice slightly at me I took a step back in fear Schroeder has only ever been really mad at me once

"Schroeder that's not it I just wanted to check on you I didn't know you felt that way okay I'm happy with David but I still want you in my life Schroeder I love you but in a best friend way you've been my best friend and the person I could tell anything to for as long as I can remember " I said giving him the wide eyes I always gave him when we were little

"The puppy dog eyes won't work this time Jamie you've hurt me and I don't know if and when I'll forgive you " those words hurt me more than anything I can't lose Schroeder I can't lose him he's the one person I can tell anything to I tell him the things I can't tell Matt or David he gets what I went through leaving my family to pursue my dream he gets all that but the fact that I might lose him is going to kill me

"Schroeder I-I-I didn't mean to " I said as I was slightly crying but he cut me off

"Maybe you should go cry to someone who cares goodbye Jamie " he said as he slammed the door on me I stood there for a minute trying to wrap my head around what just happened did I just lose Schroeder I got into my car and looked at Schroeders house as it hit me I maybe  never see Schroeder again or if I see him it won't be us it'll just be him and me

I started driving to the spot where I hike most of the time when I'm depressed it's the prettiest place in L.A in my mind I got out of my car and started to walk up the trail

I got to the top of the peek and looked out at the city below I sat down on the edge of the cliff and started to ball my eyes out I was a mess of tears and running makeup by the time I got up and managed to get myself back to the car I got in my car and drove back home I got home and went inside and saw David lying on the couch I walked over to the couch and sat down beside him he looked at me

"Jamie what happened to you ?" He said sounding concerned I didn't say anything I just hugged David and started to cry my eyes out again he hugged me back and turned off the lights and that's the last thing I remember before falling asleep in Davids arms still crying over Schroeder and the fact I lost him for possibly good
