*Hikaru's pov*
Just a couple works later, it was almost homecoming. We had a week until homecoming. I had gone shopping with Miriam for a dress. She picked out a dress that was gold colored with pink heels and pink earrings (outfit on side.) 'I like this one." She exclaimed.
"Me too."
"I'm glad you like it Hikaru."
"Yep."
'Yeah so what are you going to wear to homecoming?'
"I don't know. Let's go across the street to look for an outfit. "
"Alright." Miriam helped me pick out a tux with a blue tie (outfit on my message board on my profile.)
After buying the tux we went to have lunch. Miriam was surprised that my tux was so expensive. I was used to costly things. It was implied that Miriam wasn't used to this.
I knew that Miriam was not poor. I assumed that she was middle class. The only reason she was in Japan was because of a scholarship. Although, I did still have a crush on her.
This wasn't normal for me. Usually I was attracted to the rich girls who had model pretty faces. But Miriam, was beautiful. Unconventionally pretty some people might say. This was the reason it was so strange. Miriam was the first non rich girl that I had felt attracted to.
*Honey's pov*
Martina didn't want to go shopping with me so I had to go with the host club. It wasn't Martina's fault she didn't like shopping. She was just like that.
I was accustomed to it and my father made me so yeah. I always had to go with a girl. I just hoped Martina would accept my offer.
The next day I decided to ask her right away in the morning. Just before the bell. I decided to have Tamaki help me practice. "You start." He muttered."
"Ok." I paused then said "Hey Martina."
Tamaki pretended to be Martina. "Yes Honey Sempai?"
"I was just wondering... Would you like to be my date to homecoming ."
Tamaki just replied with a made up answer since he didn't know how Martina would actually react. A few minutes later we arrived at the academy. Martina was already there with Miriam. I whispered to Tamaki that I was extremely nervous.
"You'll do great."
"Are you sure."
"Yes." I anxiously approached Martina. "Hi Martina."
"Hey."
"Umm I was wondering..."
"Yeah."
"Would you like to go to homecoming with me?"
"Yeah."
"Yay!"
"We are going as just friends right?"
"Of course."
"Ok just making sure." The bell rang signaling the end of our conversation.
*Tamaki's pov*
So far only Honey Sempai and Hikaru had dates to homecoming. Obviously Honey Sempai was taking Martina and Hikaru was taking Miriam.
I had to make sure that I had a date. That date was going to be Haruhi. At least I wished so. This was going to be complicated.
**Skip to lunch**
The bell had just rang to go to lunch. I had to ask Haruhi. And fast. As soon as I saw her coming towards me I jogged to her. She looked surprised. Then asked "is something wrong?"
"No not at all."
"Then why'd you practically run towards me."
"Because.. I need to ask you something."
"What is it?"
"I was wondering..."
"Yes?"
"Would you do me the honor if being my date to homecoming?"
She giggled then replied "of course you are my boyfriend after all right?"
"Yeah."
"Then why were you so nervous."
"Yeah I guess that was kind of silly of me."
"Yes it was."
"Hmm yeah."
"Let's go to lunch."
"Ok."
*Kauro's pov*
Too bad Hikaru had already decided to take Miriam. I thought that Miriam suited my personality. I felt that Miriam and I would make a cuter couple. I didn't know how Hikaru truly felt about her but I was determined to take her on a date as soon as possible.
Now I had to find a date. I was walking around the campus when I saw a fairly decent looking pretty girl. I strolled up to her and introduced myself. "My names Kauro."
"Oh hi."
"What's your name."
"Becca."
"Hi Becca."
"Hi."
"I was wondering if you would like to go to homecoming with me?"
"Of course."
"Ok. I'll be there by 6:45 to pick you up."
"Ok."
