*Miriam's pov*

The night of homecoming, Hikaru picked me up at the apartment that I was staying at with Martina. He was dresed in his elegant tux and me in my pretty dress. He had gotten us a limo. The limo driver opened the door so that we could easily get in.

I picked up the train of my dress and sat down on the smooth leather seats. Hikaru sat next to me. He looked into my eyes then blurted out. "You look beautiful tonight Miriam."

"Thanks."

"Your welcome."

"So where are we going to eat?"

"A special Japanese restaurant."

"Cool."

"It's my favorite."

"Awesome."

*Martina's pov*

For once in my life I was excited for a school dance. I was actually going with friends. All of which would never bail on me or ditch me. It wasn't like I was actually going to dance. I just wanted to have someone to talk to.

Which is what I usually do at dances. I was a horrible dancer. Honey was picking me up at the apartment. Miriam had left thirty minutes earlier with Hikaru.

The only thing I did to get ready for the dance was put my hair in a ponytail. I was sitting watching psych when the doorbell rang. I turned the tv off and answered the door.

*Honey's pov*

Almost right after I rang the doorbell, the doorknob started to twist. Then it opened. Standing there was Martina.

She was dressed in a lavender colored dress. She had on small heels. I had brought my car to pick her up in. I know cheap.

I had asked her though and she told me she did not want me to pick her up in a limo. Martina wasn't at all traditional. She was different which I liked.

She nervously followed me to my car which was a red Mitsubishi. She made herself comfortable in the front seat. "You ok?"

"Yeah."

"Are you excited?"

"I guess."

"Ok."

"What would you like to eat?"

"Anything is fine."

"Ok." I pulled out of her driveway and drove towards the nearest restaurant.

*Haruhi's pov*

This wasn't normal, I couldn't be going to homecoming. Hardly any commoners went to homecoming. Nonetheless at an academy. I had never gone to one. Also I was even wearing a pretty dress.

My dress was light blue. I wax wearing shiny gold heels as well. My hair had grown back to it's original length which was long.

I styled my hair into a windswept spiral. Then quickly dusted some glitter into it. I was just swiping on some lipgloss when I heard a chime from downstairs.

**at the dance**

*Hikaru's pov*

Miriam was the best dancer. Her dress accentuated her curves perfectly. When a song played that we both didn't like, I pulled her aside and we went to the steps. We sat down and started kissing. My hands trailed farther down her body then I had planned. They were at her waist. I was kissing her neck. "We better stop."

"Yeah." Then we continued dancing.

*Kauro's pov*

I had arrived at homecoming. I was having fun I guess. I'd rather be with Miriam. I mean Becca was a pretty girl. But right when I had laid eyes on Miriam I knew I was in love.

I know it sounds cheesy. It was love at first sight. My brother had her instead of me. Whenever I would look at Hikaru and Miriam I knew I was envious. I knew that I was meant to be with Miriam. I would get Hikaru back.
