They call him Master Splinter but he's real name is Hamato Yoshi and when he was young they killed he's wife and they took he's daughter then he got mutated and became a 6 feet rat and adopted 4 mutated turtles and teached them ninjitzu.
Siblings: Hamato Yuuta (he's father), Tang Shen (wife she's dead), Miwa/Karai (daughter), Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo are he's step sons, and Shredder (step brother).

Master Splinter's symbol is 4 medium circles surrounding a big circle (I don't really know what is called) but in the show he always wear it in the back of he's coat and when they put back stories of him as a human he has it too.
Personality: He's a very soft, calm, understandable, and wise mutant, and love he's sons or step sons to death and he does anything to protect them.
