"A walk?" You asked.

"Yes a walk. We can walk to the waterfalls." Sans spoke.

You two walked in silence to the waterfalls. This time not an awkward, but a comfortable silence. Entering the waterfalls, you immediately felt the change of temperature. You felt warmer. As you walked further and noticed the beautiful, blue flower in front of you.

"It's an echo flower. Tap it." Sans said and smiled.

You tapped one of the echo flowers pellets. 'It's an echo flower. Tap it.'  It repeated.

"Explains the name." You chuckled. "Can I try it too?"

"Sure. Just say something and it will record."

"If you would be a flower, then you would be a damndelion." You laughed and snorted.

Sans and you laughed, earning strange looks from the other monsters present.

"Hey Sans?"

"Yeah?"

You tapped the echo flower once again. 'If you would be a flower, then you would be a damndelion.' It said while you were looking at his face, waiting for a reaction.

Sans took a minute to think, and then spoke. "The flowers here aren't the only thing with long sterms." he grinned.

You busted into a maniacal laughter and almost fell over. Sans caught you and held you in his arms. 'You know, my arms aren't the only-"

"S-Sans p-please" You could no longer recover from laughing and let it all out.

When you were able to stand again, he smirked and winked. This skeleton is going to be the death of you. You smiled and walked forward, noticing all the fireflies. You let out a gasp.

"It's beautiful isn't it." He watched the flowing river with you.

You nodded in response, not being able to talk by the beautiful view of the water falls.

Time passed, and the two of you were walking again. You still had the uneasy feeling of not having your gun with you and having to rely on your magic. You didn't fully had faith in your magic. You still wanted to tell your story to Sans, you were just seeking for a spot where no other than Sans could hear it.

"Sans?"

"Hmm?"

"I kind of want to tell you my story." You stated, insecure of his response.

"I know a spot. I'm sure you won't feel comfortable telling it in the open, am I right?" He said, like he read your mind.

"Y-yeah." You mumbled.

The two of you walked further and stopped by a room with two rivers in it. In the middle lay four flowers. Suddenly, a spark of blue magic surrounded the flowers and let them fly to the river. You looked at Sans and saw his eye socket turned blue. He placed the flowers neatly in a row so that it could form a bridge.

"Ladies first." He mumbled.

[ Cave, Underground | 9:18 AM ]

You walked over the flowers, determined not to trip and fall into the water.

You entered, what seemed a small room with only a bench and an echo flower in it. Sans entered the room as well and sat down on the bench. You sat down on the ground and took a deep breath.

"It all started when an assassin murdered my parents one night. The same night, the assassin, which name was Cole, knocked me and my sister unconscious and took me with him. We were far away from our house. Our parents were dead and me and my sister were trained to be assassins as well. I lived with a bunch of kids in a cellar underground in an old house. It was kind of like a lame basis for an assassination group. We didn't drink, nor eat much. Over day we had to sleep, and at night we were ordered to kill. Just killing people for money. And don't get me wrong, I didn't like to kill, but I had to. Otherwise, they threatened to kill me instead. Sickening isn't it? That's why I never sleep. Because the monsters in my head never sleep."

He just stared deep into your eyes. "Why did the author write you like this.." Sans mumbled.

"What?" you said and looked up.

"It's nothing."

"To continue my life story, one day my sister got taken as a hostage by some sort of criminal group. If we wouldn't pay the money for her, they would kill my sister. Me being the protective sister, and not trusting anybody of the group assassins I were in, I escaped somehow and went outside on my own. I tried to break into the house of where she was captured. I succeeded but I saw my sister being shot right before my eyes. I-I r-ran away like a c-coward. I ran towards this mountain. I just wanted to die. T-to die alone. S-so I s-started w-walking. On m-my way walking I found this l-lost dog. I named h-him Jack and w-we fell." You began to sob.

"It's alright. Let it all out." Sans smiled sympathetically.

"I'd rather keep it all inside because I'd rather let the pain destroy me than everyone else." You sobbed.

Sans stood up and joined me on the ground and put an arm around you. You leaned on his shoulder, sobbing into his jacket.

"You know, It is often in the darkest skies that we see the brightest stars." Sans said and hugged you tight. Had Sans being searching quotes or something?

"T-Thanks Sans."

"For what?"

"Being here."

"No problem kid. I got to let you into a secret too."

"What is it?"

"I'm just like you."
