C H A P T E R_10

[Snowdin, Underground | 2:03 PM ]

You and Jack stepped outside. The cold wind blew along your faces as you stepped in the cold, white snow. You decided not to walk to the waterfalls. Instead, you walked in the direction of the gate of the ruins. You knew you couldn't come back to Toriel, but you wanted to see Snowdin since you didn't really have gotten a chance to see it.

You passed the library and decided to turn right to see a cloaked person on a boat. You and Jack walked to the person and greeted it.

"I am the riverman. Or am I the riverwoman? It doesn't really matter. I love to ride in my boat. Would you care to join me? We can either go to the Waterfalls or Hotland." The person asked.

You already knew a small part of the waterfalls, so you decided to visit hotland.

"To Hotland please." You said and stepped on the boat. The boat was in the form of a cat actually, it looked funny.

After a while, the riverperson decided to say something. "Beware of the little one who knows all our secrets."

"Whaddaya mean?"

The riverperson ended up saying nothing, so you ended up saying nothing as well. Once again, an awkward encounter. Great job (Y/N)!

As you were sailing, it was getting hotter, so you assumed you would be close to Hotland. That was true, since the riverperson bearded you and Jack to step off onto the land.

And so you did. You were now standing in a long, seemingly red corridor with Jack. You began to walk and your mind began dosing of with all the interesting thoughts you had.

"Did you miss me (Y/N)?" A sharp and high pitched tone suddenly said. You immediately knew who it was. Flowey the fucking flower.

"What is it that you want?" You asked in an irritated tone.

"Let me tell you something about our souls. I know you have been questioning some things about that for quite a while now. It's getting quite annoying." He said again and made your curse mark slightly burn and popping the yellow heart out of your chest.

"Well? What about it?" You asked as the physical form began growing from the ground. You examined your yellow heart and saw that it were turned upside down.

"You see, when I gave you half of my power, it was actually equivalent to giving you a quarter of my soul. But since that one can not have more than one soul.-" Flowey said smirking.

"A quarter of mine went into you?"

"So you aren't a complete idiot after all. So for exchange of my powers, I got a quarter of your human strength and determination. That means that your determination is damaged and that you will die here. Right now." He said as vines strangled your legs, making you trip.

"Oh but I'm not giving up without a fight. An eye for an eye right?" You said smirking and spawned a black fire of yours in your hand.

"I figured that. Now, let's fight." He smirked and vines strangled your arms.

You burned them easily and fired your fire at him. Your hair went black, as well as your clothes. Toriel told you not to use up all your magic at once, but one time couldn't hurt right?

Another pair of vines tried to attack you, but you easily dodged them and shot another pair of fireballs at Flowey. This time, he shot bullets. You dodged them, but got hit by one in your arm.

"FUCK!" You yelled and grabbed your arm to stop the bleeding.

At that moment, you looked at Floweys face in despair as you realized that there were coming bullets from behind by looking at that sick and twisted smile of his.

You prepared for the possible impact and closed your eyes. But the bullets never hit you. You only heard a loud howl. You immediately turned around and saw Jack with several bullet wounds. One thing was sure, he wouldn't survive this. You hugged him one last time and closed the eyes of the white husky. "You were amazing Jack. Thank you. Have a good rest." You cried onto his white fur.

"YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A BAD FUCKING TIME." You yelled and you could feel the fire burn within you.

"Well, well, well. Look who's strong now. Just because I killed the little dog. It was a piece of trash anyway." He sickly smiled.

"DON'T SAY THAT YOU FUCKING FUCKTARD." You cried. You were pretty sure you had black irises by now. Everything was burning inside you.

"Let me remind you, dearest (Y/N). You can't win. You will never win. Let's just play around for a little more. How about I kill that lovely smiley trashbag you are so fond of?"

You let a yell of rage out and stormed at Flowey with full force. You fired your fire, now surrounding the flower, with everything you had.

"Too late (Y/N). We're done playing. I had fun." He said and disappeared into the ground, leaving you defeated behind.

You sank on your knees and felt weak. You dropped and everything went black.

[ LAB, Underground | 7:53 PM ]

"Is she waking up?"

"L-looks like it."

You heard two voices from distance. Your head hurt and you felt a light nausea coming up. You groaned and tried to open your eyes.

"HOLY SHIT AL! SHE IS AWAKE!"

"N-not so l-loud please. She could h-have a h-headache."

Your view was getting more bright now. You were in a lab on the cold ground. Two women were staring at you. One yellow lizard whose name would be Alphys if you remembered correctly, and one blue fish whose name would be Undyne. Wait Undyne? Weren't you supposed to avoid her?

"Hey punk, I'm not going to kill you. So get that look of your face." Undyne said.

"C-can you t-talk?" Alphys asked and looked at you in curiosity.

"I think so." You said with a sour throat. "It hurts though." You said, getting up.

"I'VE GOT THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR A HURTING THROAT! I'LL BE RIGHT BACK NERDS." Undyne said excitedly and stormed up the stairs.

"Welp she's all over the place." You said with a smile.

"I-I think it's better for you not to t-talk." Alphys said in concern.

"I think I'm alright."

"HERE IT IS PUNKS! ICE CREAM MADE BY THE FAMOUS DOCTOR ALPHYS!." Undyne yelled and handed you a bowl with pink ice cream.

"ICE to meet you too." You snickered.

"DUDE YOU WERE SO AWESOME OUT THERE! LIKE YOU HAD FIRE AROUND YOU AND STUFF! THAT WAS EPIC MAN! HOW DO YOU EVEN DO IT? YOU'RE HUMAN RIGHT?" Right. The fight. I lost Jack in there.

"To be honest I don't know if I'm human anymore. I saw my soul and saw that it was turned upside down. I'll explain it later. It's a long story."

"Sure thing bro! You're cool. Look! We even got a new pair of clothes for you since the other pair was ruined by ash." Undyne said and held up a (F/Color) hoodie and a (F/Color) Pants.

"That's amazing guys. Thanks." You said happily and smiled. This world is already so much better than the surface.

"Nah it was nothing. You still gotta explain it though. I'm waiting."

"Okay so it began when I fell down.."
