After Alphys had left, you just lay on the couch, crying, curled up in a ball. Why you god dammit? Out of all people, why the fuck you?
"Babe.." You heard Sans say. He sounded.. Defeated. Beaten in his own game.
You looked up, seeing Sans had been crying as well. You stood up and wrapped him into a tight hug.
"So I suppose now is the time we head to Asgore's castle right?" You said sadly.
"But.. We still got some time." He sounded hopefully.
"Sans you know too damn well I don't." You said. Sans tightened his grip on you and sobbed.
"I-I love you."
"I love you too Sans."
"You still have time. Please, just.. Stay?"
"But..-" You exclaimed.
"Just.. Please?" He whined. You nodded, what would only be followed by Sans kissing you passionately.

You had been working on a letter for a while. One for Sans, and one for yourself in case the plan worked out. You'd been having trouble with writing it though, because you would just let your emotions out on paper.
Sans' soft snores made you smile a bit. It was as if they let you know you weren't alone. That you were okay.
However, you knew you weren't. You knew there wasn't much time left.
In a few hours you'd be dead. Somewhere else.
You hesitated a bit, but there was no time to lose. You placed the letter in your bag, as well as other things you'd made.
Putting on your shoes and jacket, you looked at the cozy house, and most importantly, to your lover for the last time and left. You closed the door very carefully and stepped outside in the cold snow.
Walking to the riverperson, you came along Grillby's and remembered all the good times you'd spend there. You smiled and teared up.
You walked further until you met the river person again.
"Where can I take you?" The riverperson said and bearded to get on their boat.
"To Asgore's castle please." You said and dried your tears.
"I'm afraid the closest I can bring you to the castle is Hotland." They said and started sailing.
"We'll go there then." You said and sat down.
"Are you all right (Y/N)?"
How do they know your name? You thought. "Well things are falling apart and so am I."

You'd walked for what seemed forever. You finally made it to the castle and stood in front of a big, brown wooden gate. You knocked. No response.
Whatever. You thought and opened it, only to reveal a huge, orange looking hall.
Welp. It's a beautiful day outside. You thought while looking at the stained glass and walked further. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming.
