Chapter 3: Work And More Of The Bachelors

1st person
After that I called in the place Kawaii-Chan had recommended and was immediately given the job for 8pm to 12am tomorrow.
We did nothing for the rest of the day, (b/n) and I got his school supplies ready for tomorrow then ordered some food since we didn't really have any to make dinner, I put him to bed soon after and set his alarm for 5:30 so he could have time to get ready tomorrow.
I walked into my room and made sure my own alarm was set on the correct time; 5:00am exactly. Soon after I fell asleep.
(In the morning)
At the beeping of the alarm I quickly pushed the button at the top of it to turn it off as I sat up and combed my hair back with my fingers. After a moment I stood up and made my way to my closet and opened it up to retrieve my work uniform. I slipped on my shirt and pants quickly and then made my way to the bathroom to freshen up.
After that I made my way downstairs and made myself some warm milk and a piece of toast before work and made (b/n) some toast and set the milk into the microwave so he could heat it up when he wakes up to go to the bus.
I got to the entrance and put on my shoes and grabbed my phone and keys; opening the door while putting my license and phone into my apron. I got into my car after opening the garage, drove out, locked it again, and made my way to work wishing my little brother a good first day at school.

(At work)
Your job was quite simple; if it seems like a customer needs some help, go help them. The store itself was like a thrift shop; so you've met some interesting people over time. Today didn't seem very different; you met some strangely colored people, people who acted like pirates, and some people that consisted of 2 pretty average guys, one wearing a dinosaur onesie? Also a dinosaur and a narwhal. Not very strange honestly. You were in the middle of organizing some racks of sweaters when someone behind you asked,"Miss do you work here?"

The guys, strangely, have been wanting to go to a thrift shop these past couple of days to find some cheap stuff for our house and maybe buy some clothes. Yesterday we finally decide to go to one; and now here we are, in a thrift shop full of cool stuff. There were some things that seemed like they fit the medieval times; there even was armor, then things that looked like it was 10 year too early. I start to walk down the sweater section looking for some winter clothes, when, right in front of me, had to be one of the finest ladies I've ever seen. She was fit, tall, had shining (h/l),(h/c) hair,smooth (s/c) skin,and crystal (e/c) eyes. Now I've seen some good looking girls in my day, but her,she was like an oasis. I clear my throat silently and ask her,
"Miss do you work here?"
She turned to me,"Yes how can I help you sir?" As she says that she puts a hanger on the rack.
"Well, you see, I'm looking for some good winter clothes and I would like to ask someone else's opinion." I gesture to the racks, I see her nod and she looks at the racks and pulls out a nice grey sweater with a nice green knitted scarf.
"I say this one is quite nice and looks fairly in fashion."
I take it from her hands and look at the size and price; it was my exact size and is a pretty good price, only 6 bucks!
"This looks perfect thank you....?" I hint, trying to get her name.
"(Y/n), and no problem. Do you have all you need? If so I can scan your items." She gestures to the cash registers.
"Yes please."
She leads me to an empty register and starts to scan my items.
"Hey Laurence!" I hear Dante yell nearby so it turn in that direction to see him and Garroth holding their baskets of not yet paid clothes walking to me.
"Oh hey guys, you got all that you need?" I ask
"Yeah, it took us awhile since Garroth was stuck on what coat he was gonna get." Dante said placing a separating bar between his and my stuff.
"Hey! It wasn't my fault; there were too many options!" Garroth crossed his arms and looked at us grumbling.
I can hear (y/n) chuckling at us. I turn and give her a look that says,'Average day', she rolls her eyes in almost a,'tell me about it' way.
Suddenly her phone rings and we look at her, she gives an apologetic look at she answers the call. Al, we hear is:
"Hey (b/n)......... Good to know...... Really....... Alright take care now alright, for sis...... Okay take care (b/n)..." Before she hung up.
"Sorry about that, I told my little brother to call me when he had free time." The scratched the back of her head.
"You have a little brother?" Garroth asked.
"Yeah, he's 7 so he's in school right now." She said while ringing up my stuff.
"That'll be 34.57." I hand her the amount of money asked and she went on to getting Dante's things.
"I have a little brother as well only he's closer to my age than as young as yours." Garroth says placing his clothes on the surface.
"Are you new here by any chance? We're new as well but I've haven't seen your face around here before." Dante says while taking out his wallet.
"Yeah, me and my brother just officially moved yesterday, so today's his first day of school here. That's 40.20." Dante quickly hands over the money and she goes onto Garroths things.
"Do you live on my street by any chance, if so you might have met my brother." He says taking out his card as we stand nearby waiting for his things to be scanned and paid for.
"He's in the neighborhood watch, shaggy black hair that covers one of his eyes, possibly named Zane?" Garroth explains.
"Zane? Yeah I met him yesterday, seemed like an alright fellow, a bit strange, but fairly normal to be honest." Dantes eyes widen.
"Zane? Alright? Are we on the same page here lady?"
"Apparently not." She says finishing with Garroths clothes.
"Sorry, my brother is just quite cold and rude at moments so when he acts otherwise we get a little surprised." He swipes his card paying for the mountain of clothes.
"I guess that's normal, well have a nice day you 3." We walk through the door and I see Garroth wave at (y/n) and she wave back, then start to tend to another person.
"She seemed nice." Dante said getting into the car.
"Yes indeed, to bad we didn't get her name." Garroth sat in the back and threw his things; along with Dantes and mine into the back.
"She's called (y/n)." I added getting into the front seat.
"Oh that's a nice name." Garroth complemented.
Dante nods in agreement as he turns on the radio.
I don't know much about her; but I can't wait to see more of her. I'm sure the guys will agree.

I am SO sorry this took so long to post, I had a really busy day today so I had no time till now.
But like I promised I will try to do it every day, also since this took so long I tried making it as long as I could, so I hope you like it!
