Trouble in France (The Cadmus Prophecy Book One)

Chapter 2:Midnight in Paris (With guns and hooligans)

When I woke up in the bus, it was 7:00 p.m. and we have reached Paris. I woke Thomas and a few minutes later we got off the bus. A man wearing grey suit and coat was waiting for us. What I noticed different about this man is his hair is blonde. He approached me and Thomas and said "Where's ol' Cadmus?" I looked surprisedand asked "You know him?" He looked at me and said "He's my partner in the Cadmus Agency". "He's got an agency?" I asked. He looked stunned and said "Heck no, pall's too old to run it. No his grandfather formed the agency, then he died Ben Cadmus is supposed to run it but he turned down the offer so it went to Trevor. Ben Cadmus, your uncle, is my partner so I'll ask again. Where is Cadmus?" Thomas, who's been silent the whole conversation, spoke "He's dead" The man got shocked and said "I'm sorry he's a good partner and friend. I presume he's your dad." Thomas nodded. "Well I'll introduce myself later in the car, you better come with me." I hesitated, and then I thought about the tall old man who killed Uncle Cadmus. If I want revenge, I was going to go with this guy. So I followed him to the car, along with Thomas. We got in and we drove off into night. 

The man introduced himself as Samuel Jefferson, though most people called him Sam. He's an agent working in the Cadmus Agency along with Uncle Cadmus, he's partner. Everything seems ok, and then the car stopped in front of three men in black suits. The middle guy said "Get out of the car, slow and steady" Sam handed me a gun "When this turns ugly, shoot" He said to me and got out of the car. Me and Thomas also got out of the car. The middle guy said "Take the two kids" Sam said "Aw you don't have to take them do you?" The middle guy stared at Sam and said "I got my orders" I mouthed to Sam Now? He mouthed back on three. The middle guy started approaching me and Sam counted with his fingers

I grabbed the gun and shot the middle guy who was approaching me in the stomach. He fell dead and blood spilled from his body. The right guy was about to grab his gun have I not whacked him in the head. The left guy started to run, but Thomas threw the lid of the garbage can at him and the guy fell down. "We better get out of here, the cops might catch us" Sam said. We got back in the car and continued driving. A few minutes later two black cars appear and men in black suits started shooting guns at our car. Sam cursed and said "Shoot them!" He threw a gun at Thomas and we started shooting at the cars. Pedestrians screamed and ran for help. I shot a tire of the left car and it kept turning and turning until it hit a post and the car went KABOOM!! Explosion shook the city. Thomas shot a gas pump of the right car and another KABOOM shook the city. I grinned at Thomas and said "Nice accuracy you got there" He smiled and said "Told you FPS games are handy". An hour after the attack, we reached the Agency. We got out of the car and went inside. "You should get some sleep, rooms are upstairs. I already reserve rooms for you both. Thomas yours is number 5. John yours is number 3." We nodded and head to our rooms. I was going to get the key but it looks like I won't have to since the rooms lock uses eye scanner. I just scan my eyes and I got in. The room looks like a rich man's bedroom. Everything in the room was deluxe, from the bed to the bath tub. I lie down on the bed and closed my eyes, and the next thing I knew I was sleeping
