Abby

"Abaddon!" I heard the scratchy voice of Satan roar. "Get your stupid ass down here!"

Why did he have to call me by that name. I hated it.

I groaned and got up from my bed. Even though I didn't have to sleep, my bed was probably the comfiest thing in hell.

Hah, hell puns. I thought to myself as I walked down the stairs of Satan's castle.

"Where the hell have you been." Satan asked as I walked into his office.

"Well, Lucy, I've been in hell." I pointed at him. "And so are you."

He growled at me. He hated when I called him his name given to him from God."You shouldn't be a smartass to your boss."

"But I wanna be a smartass. Isn't that one of the reasons that I'm in hell." Oh wait. That's not why I'm in hell. I had instead chosen to be manipulated by my stupid ass boyfriend to go and kill a bunch of people.

But that's water under the bridge now. That had happened like five-thousand years ago. And he got what he deserved.

"Abaddon!" Satan snapped in my face.

"What?" I growled.

"I was talking to you about our plans." He said, glaring at me with his blood red eyes.

"Right." I looked down at the sheet of paper that had a bunch of red dots symboling where our army would attack.

"I thought that we already finished planning this." I said looking at the paper that I've basically memorized.

"Yes, but we need to send someone there first to gain their trust and not have them expect us coming." He said with a evil gleam in his eyes.

"I'm still wondering why you summoned me." I said, starting to get bored.

He smirked at me. "You know, Abaddon, I've never really liked you. You're just a good general. But I'm giving you a new assignment." The gleam was still there, making his blood red eyes look even more terrifying.

I then realized what he wanted me to do and I shook my head. "No, no, no. I will not go up there." I yelled. "They know who I am. I had stood there in front of the people who sent me here. They know what I look like."

He just shook his head. "God had sent them down here. All of them. He realized that they were awful at their jobs and they only let people they liked in."

"Do I really have to go." I asked, shoulders dropping from their proper position.

"Yes. It'll finally get you out of my hair."

"Wow, thanks Lucy. You're really nice to the only person who doesn't avoid you."

He glared at me. "Just, go get ready. You leave in two days."

He then sent me away.

"He's really sending you to heaven?" My friend Lux asked as I walked paced back and forth.

Lux was my only friend, and that's because she was somehow born here, so Satan didn't know what to do with her when she was brought to his castle. Instead of handing her up to God, he just had let her grow up here. It showed that he can have a good side.

"Yeah. Me! The best warrior of hell, trainer of everyone here." I yelled.

"Calm down." She said standing up stopping me.

I sat down on my bed and held my head in my hands. My dark brown hair covering my face. "What am I going to do. What if they just send me back down here. Satan might just kill me. And I can't come back from that. I'd just be dead." I started to cry.

"It's alright, Abby." Lux said sitting next to me.

Lux just sat by me awkwardly, waiting for me to stop crying.

When I finally stopped shaking. I looked up. "Sorry about that." I said sheepishly.

"It's fine." She then punched me in the shoulder. "Hey, at least you get to actually see what it's like up there. Hell, I haven't even left hell."

I laughed. "Thanks Lux." I said smiling at her.

"No problem." She said grinning.

I stood up. "So, how do I get ready for heaven?"
