Abby

I had given up trying to get out of his grasp awhile ago. Now I was just sitting there with my arms crossed, trying to figure out the odd sparks that went through my body when he first picked me up.

I mean, yeah, this guy was gorgeous: GREAT build, gorgeous golden eyes(although it was also a little bit creepy since they were glowing and that stuff), his cropped golden blonde hair was looking pretty damn good, and he looked at me as though I was his whole world.

"So, since you're my kidnapper and all, could I at least learn your name." He didn't respond and just kept staring at me. "Aw, c'mon! I mean you kidnapped, which, by the way, I'm pretty sure is not allowed in heaven."

"My names Gabriel, most people call me Gabe, archangel, been dead for about six thousand years, been waiting for my soulmate since before then." He replied, his eyes seemed to start to change into a light blue with specks of green in them. Pretty.

"Am I allowed to ask why I'm being kidnapped?"

"You're my mate," he said matter-of-factly.

"And, since you'll probably end up telling me anyways, what is that?"

He turned towards a small house and opened the door. "This is where you'll be staying," he then set me down, "and don't even try leaving cause I can catch you in about a second."

Well that's a pleasant thought.

It was a pretty homey place; had a fireplace, hardwood floors, those kitchen island things you see in magazines, the usual stuff.

I went and sat on the couch in the corner of the room. "So you're just not gonna answer the question?"

"Not yet. You wouldn't understand." He came over and put a handcuff on my hand.

"What the hell!?" I yelled.

"I have to go talk to someone, if you need something, Michael will be here to help." He went out the door and I could see another shadow of footprints by the door.

After like five minutes the door opened again. This time, a guy with light golden brown hair came through the door.

"I'm gonna assume that you're Michael."

"You assumed correctly." He gave me a sympathetic smile. "Did Gabe even ask you your name?"

"Nope, just picked me up and brought me here." I paused for a second, "ya know, you should talk to him about making first impressions, his need to be better."

Michael laughed, "I'll tell him."

"How longs Mr. Kidnapper supposed to be gone anyways?"

"Not sure, but it'll probably take awhile." He seemed to perk up a little, "wanna play cards, you can pick which game." He grinned at me.

"Sure, although it might be hard since," I raised my hand that was cuffed to the couch. "Ya know."

He grabbed a key from his pocket and took off the cuff, "You know he just wants to keep you safe, I mean, you're a very pretty woman,
but you're Gabe's soulmate, he can feel it. And sooner or later, you will to." He gave me a soft smile.

He then grabbed a deck of cards.
