Chapter 7: Work Hard

Seokjin was preparing the food when he saw a flyers on the floor.

"Whose flyers is this?" he asked.

All of them gathered at the dining table. No one admitted that the flyers was theirs.

"Who else entered this house other than us?" Seokjin added.

"It's probably Jungkook's. I saw him bought it last night." Heeyeon interrupted as she entered the house. Her hands full of groceries that she just bought.

"Jungkook? What is he doing with this?" Seokjin asked again.

"Is he been working? Nonsense!" Jimin added.

"What nonsense? It's possible. I saw him wearing a mascot on the other day, distributing the flyers." Heeyeon answered.

"What?!" Seokjin asked in shock. "Yahh Son Heeyeon! You should tell me right away when you saw him!" his voice rose.

"Why are you shouting at me? Was that even a thing to be told?" Heeyeon resisted his words.

"Ayyy, you! Aaahh whatever! Now, we must think something to help Jungkook. But why is he working?" Seokjin asked again.

"He probably needs money to pay for the national competition. They asked him to pay so he can be the main player, even with that sprained ankle." Heeyeon answered, again.

"You seems to know much, aren't you?" Seokjin knock the ladle on the pot as he said it.

The others just laugh on their fights. They looks so cute together even when they're bickering

They started working a week later. Seokjin and Namjoon were working at the gas station, Yoongi works as a pizza delivery boy, Hoseok and Jimin at the restaurant while Taehyung at the grocery store. They're so tired but they still work happily for their youngest, Jeon Jungkook. They can't stand themselves seeing Jungkook work so hard by himself because he still too young.

Jiae was ran out of candies, so she decided to buy it from the store nearby. She chose the candies randomly and brought it to the cashier, until she realized it was Taehyung in front of her.

"You?!" she shouted. Taehyung asked her to lower her voice. "What are you doing here?" she added.

"Can't you see? I'm working!" Taehyung answered with his half-mad face.

"Why are you working?! I'll tell your mom!" Jiae shouted as she stomped the basket on the cashier.

"Don't you dare! I'll kill you!" Taehyung answered Jiae harshly.

They're both going outside the store, Taehyung bought Jiae an ice-cream.

"We're all working now," Taehyung said something first.

"I understand that Seokjin oppa, Yoongi oppa, Hoseokki, Namjoonie oppa are working but what's with you and Jimin?" Jiae asked.

"You're stupid," he said as he poked Jiae's head. "We need to gain money!" he added.

Jiae just ogling at Taehyung as she sighed. She was really into the ice-cream when she realized she's late to sell the candies. "The kids might already finished their classes," she said while she prepare the things to head the primary school. "Yahh Kim Tae! Thank you for the ice-cream!" she shouted from afar before she ran. Taehyung's eyes followed her until she disappeared from his sight. His lips shows curves means he's happy to meet her today.

It's been about a month since they're working. They got paid and they gathered all the money they have. There was some notes left that they decide to buy foods to celebrate their success. They bought fried chicken and some colas then headed to Yoongi's house. Heeyeon, Jiae and Jungkook were waiting at the house.

"Waaaaahhh! Chicken!" Jiae screams happily.

"This is not for you. You're too fat to eat these foods." Taehyung teased her, harshly.

"Stop teasing her already, Taehyung-ah. Girls is prettiest when they eat." Jimin interrupted.

Jiae gathered her hands together as she showed an admiring face to Jimin, "As expected, our Park Jimin is the best! Come here to me, let me hug you my fluffy Chimchim!" she opened her arms to hug Jimin when suddenly Taehyung's hands disrupt her.

"Yahhh yahh stop it! You better eat this before it's cold!" Taehyung said to Jiae while his eyes went larger. Jimin just smile widely as he saw Taehyung's jealous expression.

"Jungkook-ah," Yoongi opened his mouth while the others were busy eating. "Take this," he handed Jungkook a thick envelope.

Jungkook was so shock of what he saw in the envelope, "What is this, hyung?" he asked.

"Isn't that-" Taehyung hold Jiae's right hand, signalling her to stay silent. Jiae looked at Taehyung and continued eating right after.

"You need this for your national competition, aren't you? Just take," Yoongi said.

Jungkook was so happy accepting the money. He promised them to work harder so he can get place for the competition.
