I walked into the corner shop and walked over to the sweet isle. I grabbed a bottle of maple syrup and walked over to the cashier.
"Hey I like your shirt" the cashier whispered as I placed the maple syrup on the side so he could scan it.
"Oh thanks dude" I whispered back "one thing though why are we whispering"
"I really don't know" he whispered back causing me to giggle. I saw him blush and he grabbed a piece of paper to write something down. He is kinda cute I guess, I mentally slapped my forehead I have a boyfriend who is waiting for me back home. He turned back around and handed me my maple syrup and the piece of paper.
I read the paper,

I slipped the piece of paper into my pocket and turned back to the boy, who was now blushing so much he blended in with the red wallpaper behind him, and smiled.
"Sure" I said as I started to make my way out of the shop "my name's Josh by the way"
I started to make my way home trying to process what just happened.

I turned around and threw the already cold pancakes in the bin.
