The next week wasn't as angry as it usually was. In fact, the next week was quite peaceful for Tim.
A little too peaceful.
He'd even say that for once he felt... Relaxed?
Yah, that was the word.
Even Max couldn't deny the tension that had suddenly disappeared that week.
Max couldn't stay mad at Ross forever.
And that, well...
Vice versa.
Honestly the reason Max had avoided Ross was to cool down a bit. He was getting a little sick of Ross.
Who wouldn't get sick of the guy after living with him?
But Ross' reason was one he had completely kept to himself.
One he wouldn't share with anybody in the whole entire world.
The fact that the reason he was shy and avoiding Max was because...
Ross had grown a crush on him.
***It was a normal day in the offices. Some Do Not Laugh, GTA, mod reviews they had been doing recently. It was fun and peaceful and did not feel much like work. It was a normal, normal day. Well, when you're work in the offices nothing is quite 'normal.' More like... As normal as it could get.
Ross was looking around out the window to see everyone occupied with their own things. Ross than started to slack off a bit in his office to think about things. He deserved a break... Right? Things were just confusing and it was getting hard to commentate when thinking about life. When thinking about Max.
He was staring off into the ceiling which, to anyone else, looked like he had taken sudden interest in the wall. He wasn't thinking about the wall at all, in fact he was thinking so many questions he might explode from the quantity.What if I grow attracted to anyone else?
What if Max denies me?
What if Max likes someone else?
What if Max does accept, but we break up?
What would everyone think?
What if everyone hates me?
And that was only about 0.0001 of the questions he had. He kept asking things similar and every once in a while asked a question he had asked before. Ross had eventually gone back to work before everyone had noticed the daze he was in by looking through the window.
He was confused at himself. Like how he actually thinks "What is Ross?" And he remembered that one time he said "I'm hella straight." But three seconds later started talking about sucking dick. Ross had to admit he was just as confused as everyone else was.
He honestly excepted it a long time ago, well more of a joke than it is now. He was serious about it now. If he didn't understand who Ross was fully, there's a 0.00000000000001% chance someone might figure it out.
Ross was still waiting for that, (hopefully male) 0.00000000000001 to come up to him and explain who and what Ross was. So far, he was out of luck. Did that 0.0000000000001 even exist in the timeframe he was in?
It was best not to think about it, Ross was very much afraid that if he kept on thinking, and thinking, and thinking, and thinking on about the mystery of who Ross really was, he might just die from a brain fart.
How had he even get to this topic in the first place? Ross had realized he had zoned out in the middle of his video, another thing for Max to edit. Ross had even forgotten what he had been doing, and just decided to shut down the video and not send it, he had to restart the whole thing.
Just fan-fricking-tastic. He had even checked how long he had been recording, and realized the video was coming to a close end. Ross had been previously playing 'Party Games' on Minecraft. In fact, he had been lagging and was still riding his white stallion.
Ross quickly went into 3rd point of view, and chuckled at the thought of a narwhal with a derp face riding a white horse. It was quite a peculiar sight, even for Ross the sloth.
Though the video was ruined, the brown haired male had quit Minecraft and went back into party games. Once he was in a server, he had explained how he had lagged and missed two rounds of party games, so he couldn't play.
What Ross didn't know was that he had mumbled quite a few things that... May or may not have been very revealing. Very revealing like... Pretty much saying that 'he liked Max because he was gay.' In fact, if Max switched the words around, only those words previously mentioned before, Max wouldn't found out Ross' little secret.
Luckily, Ross' mumbling had been unclear and indirect but there was one mumble, that while Max was editing, that stood out very bold and clear to Max. What had Ross mumbled out? Ross had mumbled out the word gay.
After that Max was a blushing mess and stopped listening to all his mumbles until Ross had gotten a good server. For the 'ERROR' screen he had put Ross' (Minecraft skin's) face on a chicken who was saying "Be right back." Did Max mention Ross' Minecraft skin, who had a chicken's face, was holding the chicken-Ross?
Max, had tried to make everything as funny as possible from then on. Max didn't quite understand why, it's like the word gay had triggered something. Had triggered something in Max. Had triggered something in his heart.
Max shook his head and laughed loudly, and went straight back to work. Did you hear how mushy that was? How very, very corny that sentence just so happened to be. Yet the word gay still echoed throughout the emptiness of his mind.
Max and Ross were slapping themselves lightly, almost at the exact same time. Why?
Ross' reason was because he had just talked about shipping, and somebody had mentioned MithRoss in the comments. Ross laughed and said 'That'd be great.' Obviously joking, but had slapped himself for having the thought. It was... Weird.
Max's reason was because he couldn't get that stupid word out of his head. The word was still strong and bold in his mind, in a voice exact that of Ross'.
What had they gotten themselves into?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Looks like me and Max have similar problems, I can't get 'Hands To Myself'---I think that's the name---out of my head. When I wrote the thing about chicken-Ross, I had honestly thought:
What the heck did I just write?
I was going to make this chapter a filler, but realized I just didn't want one, plus: Don't you guys want to get to the juicy stuff?
Yah, I do too. But if I do it right away it will feel rushed, forced, and cringy. Like those love at first sight things. Don't you just hate it when author's write something like "They're friends instantly, *1 Day Later* They love each other, confess, and yippity do *Insert sad thing* I still love you! Boom, *## Years Later and they're married!" So overall it's like... I don't know... 20 parts? I plan, at least (Maybe if a sequel is coming out) at least, 30 parts. At maximum I'd say 65.So, that's all my shippers. And don't forget:
Ship on!
