After the events of the past few days the routine slowly went back to pace. Ross and Max gradually found they didn't ignore each other anymore, not exactly being friends, but not being enemies. Acquaintances would be a good word to describe it, and that was good enough.
After the kiss challenge failed miserably, no one bothered them that much. Of course someone would spark up an idea every once and a while, but no one really went through with it. And as the days passed by, there was something planned in schedule.
The reading of a MithRoss fanfic with Max and Ross.
Even though I say it as if it were nothing, once Max and Ross remembered, hell broke loose within the offices. Well... That's over exaggerating it. In fact, it seemed to have no affect on Max and Ross, none whatsoever.
Which was why Tim was scared out of his wits.
Everything had been so calm over the past few days, a little too calm. You know that feeling where the back of your head feels cool and your body and atmosphere felt like nothing, a little.. Eerie in fact? Tim had that feeling every day, a foreboding feeling.
Tim had almost peed himself over it, as if the apocalypse was starting. Well the other day he did see a license plate that had '666' on it but nothing else. In fact, when was the last time Adam yelled? Or Max was mad? Or YouTube sensation RedVacktor wasn't being... A weirdo? Or, in better context, put on his gnome hat?
The world is ending as he knew it, and he had a convenient feeling for the author to tell the reader that something bad is going to happen that it was all going to start with that reading of the MithRoss fanfic.
Okay, we all knew everyone at the offices was insane, especially thumb, but not this insane. I mean, Max and Ross had been pretty okay for a while so it shouldn't be anything to worry about.
But that was just it, both knew that neither were actually okay, Max who newly cries every day and Ross who is always sleep deprived with just the thought of Max in his head, knowing he was responsible who caused such heart ache. Ross hadn't known it, he had dropped Max's heart.
Max had hopelessly fell in love with Ross over the years without even knowing it. Though the recent shattering of his heart seemed like it took it's hardest out on Max, it did Ross. Ross was guilty, so that's what he gets.
Nobody could really blame Ross, he was younger than most everyone at the offices. He doesn't deserve it to be honest, and no one really does. Both had finally accepted their feelings, to be fair it really isn't easy admitting how you feel.

Today was the day the MithRoss was coming out, and this time they weren't reading a full out story. They were just reading a couple of one shots from 'Mithross one shots' by enderseye since it was pretty clean for his channel whereas they would've loved to do DawnADHH's 'MithzanxRoss Oneshots' but wasn't appropriate for all ages, and it was pretty one of the only channels that are PG in the offices.
They both sat in the chairs as Ross silently set up for the video, the seating arrangement much like Adam's video of the SkyRoss fanfic where they just enlarged the face cam so you could see both of them.
"Hey guys, Ross here and today I'm with Max here to read another fanfic! I'm sure you've all seen, well those of you on Wattpad, that I wrote neat three times on that conversation tab. This fanfic is one you've all been requesting for a while, it's MithRoss!" Ross gleefully chirped from his seat."Great." Max announced, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes to add a little bit of Mad Max into the video. Sure, Max had a temper but Max took it to the next level in videos, of course so it would cause laughter, not pain.
"So, we are reading 'Mithross one shots' by enderseye. For all of you who don't know what a one shot is you have to do something, in writing, in one shot. Ready, Maxxy?" Ross playfully added to enlighten the viewers on the subject, point out who made the fanfic they're reading, and joke around for the viewer's enjoyment.
"So without further ado, let's get started." Of course Ross getting into the right one shot wasn't shown, and cut until they did find it. As Ross did so they mumbled out what parts they would take and all that good stuff.
"CRASH!" Max yelled at the top of his lungs, making Ross flinch. Max had no regret whatsoever and smiled cheekily.
"I was shaking under my covers-" Ross read out, and embraced himself for what was going to happen next.
"Cwash!" Max said cutely, his voice small and adorable like a child's. Ross pouted as he probably looked like an idiot, covering his ears as if scared of Max's little child voice.
"I jumped and a little whimper" Ross read, and suddenly fell forward at Max's strained voice from yelling too loudly, and falling forward meant falling right into Max's lap, but where in Max's lap? Oh yeah- that's right, in between his thighs, and while Max fought the urge to blush Ross got up and read the next part.
"Tears started to- wait, what kind of head canon says I'm afraid of thunderstorms!" I state, and almost glare at the screen while Max laughs, an almost unrealistic yet believable laugh.
"That's because you are." Max announced flatly, me turning to him and pouting in a childish manner.
"I am not!" I protest, almost forgetting about the incident that happened about 19 seconds ago.
"Yah you are."
"Can you prove that?"
"Yes."
"How?"
"Well, since you got scared when I was loud, and in this fanfic you got scared because thunderstorms are loud, should it be any different in real life?" Max made a pretty sound argument there, and Ross gave up.
They read on, and all of a sudden, it went dark.

That's it! I'm updating on Sunday, just so you know, and I made so many references I don't even anymore. Tell me any grammatical errors and I can fix them. Like how on the 'dream chapter' I accidentally put (Max was saying this) "The day I birthed Zachary." Instead of "The day Shelby birthed Zachary." Oops! Oh, and If you have any questions or reccomendations then just ask or say so! And the books I mentioned are real and you should check 'em out!
Ship on!
