"Shh. It'll be okay." Aonair comforted, ever so lightly rubbing my back with his soft velvet hands.

"I don't like killing people," I sighed, "I know they're crazy but that doesnt mean they aren't people!"

Aonair nodded. We had to go on though, because like it or not, they ran the world horribly. I leaned my head against the scope of my black and red assault rifle.

"You can take a break," the Asylum owners voice was saying to me, with a rough, aged hand on my shoulder, "We're almost done for the night and so are the crayzies. They're setting up camp, as are we. Go find your tent and lay down. Rest.".

I nodded.

"Here." I said, handing Aonair my rifle.

I got up and stretched my stiff limbs, and clenched and unclenched my fists. My pointer finger was sore.

I walked around and looked at my friends.

Marlana was smiling and encouraging Austin, who was doing really well. He leanes back and kissed her, which made her smile as a tear of happiness fell down her cheek.

"Cute." I yawned, finding mine and Aonair's tent. It was the only black tent.

I tried to fall asleep and succeeded.

Until I heard a gunshot from the Crayzie wave and a yell of agony from outside my tent.

---

Marlana's P.O.V

I smiled down at my ex/new boyfriend, his smile was enough to make me smile. I couldn't stand killing people, but the way he did it, made it seem so easy.

He closed his eyes, took a breath, aimed, and shot through the side of peoples necks, and was able to kill about twenty people with one shot. We were on the last wave of Crayzie Warriors.

The back of the group weilded guns and they aimed. Austin noticed and attacked maybe twelve out of thirteen of them. The last one was an amazing dodger, and he weilded so much bulletproof armor it was scary.

The man pointed his gun up not at Austin. But at me.

Austin noticed and at the sound of a gunshot, dropped his rifle and jumped in front of me. Taking a bullet to the stomach.

And he fell.

I screamed.

Not him. This isn't happening.

No.

Aonaira's P.O.V

I shot out of my tent and watched Marlana, who was sobbing over a body. It was Austin. He was still alive and medics came and rushed him to the Emergency ward of the Asylum. Marlana and I locked eyes.

She followed them.

I stayed.

And I tried to sleep.
