POV: Erik

"I don't like this, she been gone to long," James says outload, as we all look into the fog as if we will see her come through it.

"What if something has happened to her?" Kim asks. "She not in any shape to fight,"

"I don't want to wait around and find out we need to go now." They grab the door handles and try to get out, but they cant. "What the hell?!" James yells out. "Erik unlock the doors!" He yells out.

"I can't,"

"What do you mean you can't? Yes you can open them, just fucking unlock the doors!" James orders out.

My mind goes back to Evy room, before we left the Church. "I need to talk to Erik alone," everyone left with just the two of us in the room, with her legs over the bed. "I need you to charm the Hummer, I don't need anyone to get hurt over this."

"What in the world are you talking about? You can't fight with the way you are."  I said to her.

"If I plan this right, Corral won't allow them to kill me. She needs me alive to take over this place, but in reality I have already signed the papers."  She told me moving her chin up to the stack of papers.

"What?!"  Furry and anger filled my body, that she would take this place from me.

She looked up at me, giving me a hard look that made me catch my breath. "Just look at them," she told me.

Going to the stack of papers, I look at them. "What the hell is this?!"

"Just what it looks like. They don't say anything about the change's I just made. She said I had to sign them, but she didn't say how I need to sign them."

I'm snapped back into the Hummer. "Erik would you fucking explain to us why we can't get out of this damn thing?!" James yells out, as he tries to punch the glass, but the glass doesn't even crack.

"There is a spell on the Hummer, not allowing us to leave. After the fight is over, win or lose we will be able to leave." I tell them.

"Then why the hell did she tell us to stay in here, if she already planned this?!" Kim screams out, with tears filling her eyes.

Derek speaks up for the first time. "Because if she hadn't said that, then we would had left this Hummer a long time ago. Only to find out that she lied. She only said that, to keep us distracted long enough for her door to close, and lock us in here."

"How could you let her do this?! I thought you liked her!" Kim screams out.

I pull out the documents in my jacket and throw it back at them. "Read it," is all I say.

They look through the stack of pages. "Are you fucking kidding me!? Is this what this is about?! You get control if she dies?! What the hell is wrong with you?!" James pulls out his dagger and lunges at me from the back, but I turn around and grab the blue blade as it burns my flesh.

"I didn't sign my name, I wasn't even part of her making up her mind about this. She showed it to me after she did it. I might like power, but I wouldn't want it at the expense of her life." Pulling the dagger from him, I make the blade die down and throw it in the back.

We are all quite for a few minutes until Kim pulls out her phone. "We need help, if we can't get out then someone needs to save her."

"It won't work, look at the tree's," they look at the trees and see the gold glow. "They made sure to mark the trees before this started, so none of us could call for help."

"Then what the hell are we supposed to do?!" James voice is tired, like all of this took everything out of him.

"Nothing."
