I quickly pulled myself away from the wire and ran after you. As I was running, I pressed onto my wound. When I saw what direction you were running towards, I knew exactly where you were going. My aching body didn't stop me from running. I was full of adrenaline. All I thought about was stopping you before you did something stupid. You stopped when you got to the busy intersection. You looked back at me and I darted towards you. I was only several feet away when you decided to walk backwards while looking at me. I cried out, telling you to stop as I fell onto the pavement. I was on my feet when I heard a loud crash. I saw you on the ground in front of the car. I tried my hardest to yell out your name but it came out in a whisper. I wanted to run towards you but my body was failing me. I fell back down on my knees. You were the last thing I saw before I passed out.
