Tired of keeping secrets,
But they can't ever know.
Too hard to hold on,
It's ripping me to pieces,
Diminishing my every form.
They ask questions,
I never try to answer, instead casually finding my way around it
I manipulate, I get what I want
For the better, I'm fighting to protect.
They say, 'the truth will set you free'
But they don't know this,
It turns you inside out.
I'm not ready to go out in the open,
Whislt I can't hide forever.
It's frozen inside of me,
But it's melting.
People are realising,
Something's off with her.
I need to run,
They're thawing the brick wall around my mask.
It's going to be too late,
They'll find out.
That's why I must go,
Far into the mists of forever.
I'm not who they think.
So long as they can't find me hiding right there inside their heads,
I'm everywhere and nowhere,
Everyone and no-one
But the beauty lies in their eyes,
The very depths of their souls.
