The sky is blue
The sky turns red when the fire burns out
It isn't dawn, its midnight in the forest
The world is changing-
Every creature hides.
Even the wind stops blowing
The only warning,
They're coming.Reality really does appal.
A monster, fighting on the inside to be let loose
The scent of their blood comes from miles away; such innocent heartbeats,
The sweet taste of flesh-
I must let go.
The past must be left where it is.
Slowly I walk to my clan.Their footsteps are like rocks on paper
Shaking the ground with every step.
They smile at the way you live your pathetic little life,
Blending with society without even having to try,
Seemingly the most beautiful creatures of mankind.There she is, I catch myself from my almost agape position.
Her scent, oh the sweet metallic scent of blood,
No.
I must not.
Oh but the way it entices-They fight to hold it in,
But they're changing.
Slowly losing control-
