Kei's eyelids softly opened, and the sight he saw was something different. The room he was in was designed like a traditional Japanese palace, similar to a room for a general or captain. The wooden floors were cleaned and wrapped around him was a thick blanket made from fur and silk. He was lost for a second but somehow deep inside his heart it felt like home.
"Did I wake you, Keiroshin?" he heard a soft voice. His head turned to see a female figure just about his age dressed in a beautiful blue kimono. She sat down near the sliding door and had seemed to be writing something. Her long caramel hair was let down and the tips were scattered onto the floor as her fair skin shined upon the light of the sun rays.
"Are you okay?" she asked with a worried look. He hesitated to answer and just nodded.
"How long are you going to sleep, idiot?" her voice suddenly changed. It went from nice and soft to one that sounded like his older brother.
"Oi! Kei!" Kei felt a tug and his eyes flew open. He was back in his room of organized textbooks and dinosaur figurines. And right at the foot of his bed was his older brother, Akiteru, with the usual 'what-the-hell' look.
"Get up, it's almost time for school," Akiteru reminded him. "Mom got breakfast ready, so hurry or you're going to be late."
"Yeah," Kei lazily nodded and slipped his long legs out and got up off of his bed. He got himself ready and wore his usual black school uniform. While doing so, his mind went back to the dream he had. The historic room. His name. And most importantly, the girl.
"Again..." he sighed and stared at the history textbook that was placed on his desk. Kei grabbed it and threw it into his bag before heading out towards the kitchen.
"Good morning, Kei!" his mother greeted him with a smile. He greeted her back and took a seat in front of Akiteru who was almost done eating by now. Kei ate a little bit and stuffed his lunchbox into his school bag before heading off. He put on his shoes and made his way towards Karasuno High. He was later than usual but still met with his close friend, Yamaguchi Tadashi, on the way. Kei walked past the freckled boy and continued to the front gates of his school.
"Are you okay, Tsukki?" Tadashi asked with a concerned look. "You seem down."
Kei scowled at the boy, "You don't need to bother with how I'm doing and stop calling me that."
Tadashi slowly nodded and followed behind the tall blond. It wasn't long before they reached the gates of Karasuno. Many students were heading inside and just what a horrible moment to be there at the same time as his teammates, Hinata Shouyou and Tanaka Ryuunosuke.
"Oi! Tsukishima!" Ryuunosuke waved surprised to see him quite late.
"Aren't you usually here at school early?" Shouyou asked and tilted his head. Ignoring the two with no reply,Kei headed inside. Tadashi greeted them and followed after him. Shouyou and Ryuunosuke stared at each other with a confused look before shrugging it off.
Kei walked into the building and changed his shoes replacing them with the school shoes. He placed his shoes in the slot where his name was plaque and lifted his bag. Just then, a flash of long caramel hair walked past him. It was like the world had slowed down for a minute. He glanced at her back figure and to his surprised it was definitely very similar to the one in his dreams.
"Hanako..." he remembered her name. But the girl didn't turn around. Instead she met up with her friend and left. For an odd reason, Kei felt his heart thumping really fast. Just how was it that there was someone who looked exactly like the girl from his dream.
"Tsukki," Tadashi interrupted him. Kei fixed himself and pushed away the feeling. His usual poker face returned as he walked around the shorter male before heading to his homeroom. On the way there he somehow managed to see that the caramel haired girl was seated in the class next to his which was also his teammate's class, Shouyou and Kageyama Tobio. Kei scoffed before entering into his homeroom class and taking a seat at his desk. Tadashi followed and went to his desk leaving Kei as the teacher walked in.

Throughout the lessons, Kei couldn't help but think about the girl that looked like 'Hanako'. He still couldn't believe the possibility that someone would look like the girl in his weird dreams. On Earth maybe, but for her to be in Japan and attending Karasuno was what threw Kei's calculations off.
"Tsukishima-san, it's rare to see you spaced out," the history teacher stated and sighed, "Please read the next lines in the textbook."
"Ah, sorry sensei," he apologized and glanced down at his opened history book. He found where the last student left off and continued.
"The Sengoku period was known as the period of social turmoil, political conspiracy, and military conflict. The period involved a series of three warlords: Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu."
His voice continued to talk of the famous Sengoku period and how each warlords had came to be. Kei finished reading his part and the next student followed after where he left off. His eyes followed every word afraid he might lose concentration again if he began thinking about the girl.
Once history lectures were over, the teacher excused himself before the next subject teacher came into the classroom. In the meantime, Kei was trying to think of other things that would divert is mind somewhere else. It was impossible and he knew it well enough that 'Hanako' and the student he saw this morning was just a coincidence.

For the rest of the day, Kei was able to relax a bit. It wasn't until he went to volleyball practice that he had to see the two idiots he disliked. He couldn't help but poke fun at Shouyou and Tobio when they made a mistake or when they get into an argument. The tall blonde would laugh and comment something that would ticked Tobio off.
The gymnasium was always loud and full on tension throughout the boy's volleyball practice. Once it was over, the captain ordered them all to clean and huddle up for a small talk before leaving. Kei grabbed his bag and headed out first with Tadashi following after him.
"Tsukki!" he shouted trying to catch up to the tall blonde. Kei stopped and glared at him.
"Ah- sorry Tsukki-" he apologized and was interrupted when Kei turned around only to bump into another student. She quickly apologized and grabbed the notebook that dropped from her hands.
"Sorry," Kei bluntly said. He watched as the student looked up at him in disbelief. It was that girl again.
"At least say it in a tone where people will believe you're actually sorry," she mentioned while dusting off the dirt on the notebook.
"Ah, sorry!" Tadashi said in Kei's turn. "Are you okay? Tsukki often comes off as rude but he's-"
"Shut up, Yamaguchi," Kei glared at his best friend before looking at the girl before him. Her face was much clearer now. It was no doubt, she resembled 'Hanako' so much he couldn't tell a difference.
"Where is Kageyama-san?" she asked breaking Kei out of his thoughts. The name made his face grimace.
"The king is still stuck in the court, so you'll find him there," he replied coldly before leaving. His heart was raging furiously and yet he didn't know why. He barely knew anything about that girl but at the mention of Tobio's name it was like a switch turned on. Kei wasn't enjoying this one bit. His emotions never got the best of him for the past couple of years, but suddenly a series of historical dreams and now seeing a girl who looks just like 'Hanako', he was frustrated and filled with emotions he just wanted to get rid off.
"I hate this..." he mumbled under his breath.
