Training

I begin to come out of unconsciousness and as I do it all comes rushing back to me.

I open my eyes and lift my head up. There are a bunch of other wolves sitting around me.

I jump up and look around. They all look at me with curious eyes. 'Why are they looking at me like that?' I ask my father in my head. Yeah in my head. I'm still freaked out by it but what can I do?

'I hadn't told them you were coming yet and they don't know who you are.'

'oh...' was all I could say then I realized something. 'where's Jace?'

I look over at the grey wolf closest to me, assuming its my dad, and tilt my head.

He nods his head toward his house and I nod understanding. 'so, are you going to tell them who I am?'

My father nods at me and begins to transform back into human.

When he's a human again he puts clothes on, they were tied around his arm, and looks around to everyone and smiles, "everyone can you change back please?"

Many nod and change back while the rest hesitate before changing back.

After a few moments there are about 13 people standing here. 8 of which I've seen before.

Leroy, my brother, and Garret, Liam and Donny. His buddies. I growl internally and feel extremely angry at who the other four are. Gage and his little group. I let my eyes wonder from them though and see 2 older men, probably about my fathers age, and 3 women. 2 look to be about my age and the last one looks about my mothers age.

Just as I look back at the guys i notice Gage watching me but before i can growl or feel uncomfortable my dad began talking so I focused my attention back on my father. "Hello everyone." They all responded with timid hellos. "So, I'm guessing you are all wondering who this is." He gestures toward me and they nod. And the 'old' lady sighs. "Yeah and you blocked us all out so you wouldn't answer." She says scowling at him.

He chuckles and smiles at her. "I'm sorry. This is her first time changing. I needed to focus on her." They nod again and my father continues. "Anyway. Everyone, this is my daughter Paris." I see everyone's eyes widen in shock except for Leroy and Gage's. Leroy's are smiling. (Not literally but you know what I mean. Jeeze.) Gage is smiling triumphantly. "Like I said before this is her first time changing. Also, she didn't even know that she was a werewolf. So this is all new to her, I need everyone to be nice to her. But the most important thing to get done right now is to get her in the pack. We wouldn't have to because I'm Beta and she's my daughter but since she has never even been here before we have to go through training." He turns to me now and I step closer to him. "Par, I will explain more to you later but right now we need to get this done." I nod my dog head and he turns to Gage, "Gage, I need you to Alpha Jon." Gage nods and dad looks at me. "Paris, hes going to take you to the alpha. He'll put you through your training. When you finish come back to the cabin, okay?" I nod and he smiles at everyone. "Well. After she finishes training ill bring her around to meet everyone but for right now, I've got stuff to do!" And then he left. Leaving me with everyone else.

After a few minutes they all dispersed and Leroy walked up to me. "Hey Par!" I bark and he laughs. "I can't wait till I can talk to you for real!"

I nod and then Gage walks up and scowls at Leroy before turning to me. "Follow."

I growl but reluctantly follow.

After a few minutes of walking Gage turns around and smirks at me. I roll my eyes and he just continues to stare at me with his smirk. I growl and he chuckles, "I thought I would tell you. You look hot as a wolf." I huff and continue walking. He laughs this time and continues to lead.

After a few more minutes we come to a clearing in the woods and there is a man standing there waiting for us. "Hello Gage, Paris." He nods at us and we nod back. "Gage get in wolf form. She's going to use you to train." Gage obeys and changes to his tall brown wolf form.

"Okay, first things first. Race. Run to the tree closest to road from here and back. Through the woods." We walk over to some trees to be the start and get ready. "1, 2, 3. Go!" And we're off. Gage was winning at first and then I caught up to him with ease.

'This is easy, and fun, and refreshing! It feels amazing! Lets go faster!' What the hell?! 'oh, sorry. It's me. I'm your inner wolf. You can talk to me and I can talk to you. Whenever I want. Ill explain more later but right now. We need to win, go, go, go!'

I don't why but that struck a nerve or something and suddenly I was finished. Gage was not too far behind me but he was out of breath, I could tell. It's a pretty big space to run and I should be panting too. But I'm not.

"Wow! Paris you did great! How did you beat him AND your not even tired!? Gage here is one of our best!" I smile to myself and bark at him. He laughs and continues. "Okay, now we need combat. Do you want me to teach you stuff or just let you go?"

'just let us go! Ill help you!'

I look at him and shake my head no, hoping he would understand. "No help?" I shake it again. "Okay, then all you have to do is pin him." I nod this time and he smiles. "Gage c'mon!" Gage trots over to us and Alpha tells him what's going on. He nods, and then Alpha tells us to go.

Immediately Gage pounces at me. 'move to your right!' I do exactly that and Gage stumbles. He whips toward me and growls. 'dont let him get you! Bite him on the shoulder when he pounces again!'

I did just that a couple times (in between when he got me) and eventually got him to the ground.

I glared at him till I heard clapping. I look up to see Leroy, his friends, my dad, my step mom, Gage's friends, and... Jace. I heard my wolf howl, with satisfaction that he saw, as soon as I made eye contact with him. I internally smirk and got off Gage.

"Good job Paris! You've got some potential. We will definently take you on." My wolf howled again and then my dad cleared his throat. "Okay, you need to concentrate. Your wolf should know that your accepted and should allow you to change back. Try. Concentrate really hard." I nod and close my eyes to concentrate.

After a few minutes I feel pain all over my body and then it's gone. I open my eyes to see that I'm me again... And naked.
