"That reminds me, Anthony," Sensei spoke up, cooking with Titus in the kitchen. "What about your sister?"
"How would you know if I had a sister?" Anthony asked from across the table.
"I said I knew your brother." He shrugged, stuffing some food into his mouth. "He said Anthony and Alexa. So I figured..."
"She won't be worried." He replied. "Usually, I'm gone for about a week or so."
"You just leave her like that?" Olivier asked.
"Sorta." He mumbled. "We move around a lot."
"You're not the only one who's running from the law here." Kam smirked at him.
"Oh?" Anthony said.
"Oliver's been known to swipe mechanical parts from time to time." Said Kam. "I've managed to get my hands on a few rare explosives.
Anthony chuckled, rolling his eyes. He glanced at Sensei an Titus talking quietly as they cooked.
"What about you, Titus?" Anthony asked.
"I beg your pardon," He said. "but I believe this sort of thing isn't any of your business, Anthony."
"He's wanted in about eleven places throughout Ninjag--" Kam was tackled by Titus, fork in hand. Sensei shook his head.
"Hey, Sensei." Oliver piped up. "You never told us much about your family, friends, that sort of thing." He shrugged. "It's just you know everything about us."
All noise suddenly stopped in the room, Titus's fork inches away from Kam's eye.
"Well," Sensei said. "I've got my younger brother and my mom."
"Your dad?" Oliver questioned and soon received a punch to the shoulder from Anthony.
"Long story." Sensei laughed. "Let's just say I take after my father." His smile shrunk. "In more ways than one..."
"We have the time." Kam said. (He and Titus were sitting at the table, unscathed)
"Heh..." Sensei chuckled. "I'll add I'm hated by at least ninety-six percent of Ninjago."
"What?" The four said.
"That's one of the reasons I am not telling you my name." He grinned.
"Sensei, you never really told us," The blonde spoke up,"Why did you choose to train us?"
There was a brief silence.
"Two reasons." Sensei replied without turning from his cooking. "One: You each have your own special abilities, in which you will discover on your own."
Kam and Oliver exchanged curious glances.
"Two:" He looked over his shoulder and smiled. "You all remind me of my friends."
"We do?" The four cried.
"Mm-hm." He nodded. "Kam, your arrogant nature makes me think of my friend. He likes cake, like you. Titus, you're really mysterious and stone-faced. It reminds me of an old nindroid I use to know."
Nindroid? Anthony thought.
"Oliver. Since you're always cracking jokes at serious times, not to mention your love for machines. You're just like my friend who saved all of Ninjago once."
Oliver smiled.
"Anthony, you being the last to join the team, and your extreme stubbornness..."
Kam and Oliver giggled.
"You're just like my friend with the anime-like hair." He laughed to himself.
"Why don't you ever see them?" Kam questioned.
"Well," Sensei said, giving them plates of food. "I left them a long time ago and... they think I'm never coming back."
"Sorry for asking, Sensei." Kam quickly apologized.
"No, no." Sensei shook his hand. "I'm glad to share these type of things with you all. Now, after supper, get ready, we're going to the forest to train."
"WHAT?!" Oliver cried. "I THOUGHT YOU SAID WE WERE TRAINING TOMORROW."
"I lied." Sensei smirked. Everybody groaned.
