Simon's POV

"Tazz wake up" I said shaking her. She rolled over looking at me her eyes glowing again I studied them looking at who beautiful they were.

"We have to tell my parents today" Her eyes stopped glowing and turned grey, she nodded and accepted it.

We got ready, I wore skinny black jeans and along sleeved black shirt and rolled the sleeves up to my elbows, I wore black adidas flux and a Sidemen XIX cap backwards and my cross necklace. Tazz wore her usual makeup but with deep red lipstick, she also wore black skinny ripped jeans with a white crop top ad her hair straightened with rayban jet-black sunglasses and her black huaraches.

We set off to my parents house and of which they were cooking dinner and were inviting my brothers around, I parked the car outside and held Tazz's hand. I unlocked the door and we were greeted by my dog, Herby. Tazz started ticking his ears and I walked through to see my mum cooking, I didn't feel the temptation for some reason maybe because it was because it was my mum.

"Simon!" She squealed turning around and hugging me, I could hear her heart pounding but I didn't feel the thirst.

"How is my baby?"

"I'm alright mum, just been... busy..." I lied.

"Well the boys and your dad are in the living room, wheres my gorgeous girl?" She said looking around for Tazz.

"I'm here" Tazz revealed herself from the hallway, my mum ran and hugged her. I watched Tazz carefully as she hugged my mum still cautious, I noticed how she let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes as she calmed herself, the temptation was worse for her probably because it was my mother and not hers.

"Come Tazz, they're in the living room" Her eyes glanced to me and then back to my mum but she let go of the temptation and followed into the living room.

"Whats up, son?" My dad said as he come in for a hug, me touring over him.

"Oh! my gorgeous daughter!" My dad said pulling her into a hug, she got the hang of it, keeping herself calm.

"Sup bro" I said giving Nick a bro hug and my other brother Nate one too, they hugged Tazz and we all sat down and watched the football game.

"Boys!...and girl! Dinner's ready!" I heard my mum shouting from the dining room. We walked in and the table was set with 6 portions waiting there, we tucked in and devoured the food.

"So Tazz, how's your music been going on" My dad said looking at her in curiosity.

"It's been going amazing actually, one more song I need to record then I'm off on tour with JJ!" She smiled, happy of what she had achieved.

"Thats brilliant" My mum said smiling, Tazz took another swig of the drink "How are you perfectly fine? You've had 5 glasses of wine and you look sober as hell" Nate said looking suspicious "She's now mastered it, trying to achieve not having a hangover, its come into good practise and we've just had a huge meal" I blurted out before she could say anything.

"Aha, yeah always practising.... actually you know what now everyone is finished with the meal we have to tell you something" My eyes darted at her amazed at how confident she come out with it.

We stood up and I held her hand, I was sweating with fear, I didn't know how to feel.

"People broke into my apartment two days ago and attacked me, when I woke up everything was different" She said looking down at her feet my family's faces looking astonished.

"I woke up laying in my own pool of blood, I checked everywhere but found no injury. I walked into the bedroom to tell Simon and I... I found my puppies laying there with bloody necks almost as if they had been bitten. I cried out when someone appeared from my bathroom, it was my friend Myles. He told me they weren't dead and that they take a longer time to heal unlike humans"
