Chapter 1

"Lilly, were moving to California.' I nearly choke on my food. "What, we're moving, and to Californa!" I hop out of my seat and do a happy dance, I was going to be reunited with Abigail, my BFFL!

"Lillian,honey,are you ok?" Questions my mom with a ,"What's up with you," look on her face. "Mom, I'm gonna see Abby, duh!"the look on her face was stunned. "But, Lillian, didn't you say she hadn't talked to you since 3 months ago?" I ponder for a moment.

"Maybe her cell broke or something mom." I'm not 100% sure on that answer. "Alright honey."

After dinner I go upstairs and start packing. "Mm alright, clothes, shoes, jackets.."

When I'm done, I flop on the bed and look at the clock, 11:22 pm. I fall asleep a minute later.

*A week later

"Lillian, Lillian, wake up. We're about to leave." When I crack my eyes open, I saw my dad. "We're leaving? Croaks out of my mouth. I sit up completely and shake my head. My dad sits beside me.

"You excited to move kiddo?" Questioned my dad. "Yeah, I can't wait to see Abigail again, I hope she remembers me." I say with a loud sigh tussling my dull brown hair.

"Of course she'll remember you, aren't you guys best friends forever or something like that?" My dad pulls me into a side hug.

"Well, yeah, I hope so. I'm about to get dressed, bye daddy, talk to you later." Kissing him on the cheek I shove him out the door.

I pull out my loose faded red jersey my best friend, Anthony gave me and ombré shorts. I start to rummage through my suitcase for my red Vans. When I find them, I place them on the floor then leave to take a shower.

After 10 minutes I get out from under the hot water and get dressed. Dragging my stuff downstairs the front door opened. Anthony and Cecile, my two best friends since third grade stood there.

"Hey Lilly need any help?" Anthony says with a laugh. His voice is making me wanna run over and kiss him.

"It's not funny, please help!" Cecile comes over and grabs my duffle bag while Anthony takes my suitcase. Anthony has dark brown hair with hazel eyes that are so sexy. He stands at about 6"3. Cecile shares the same dark hair as Anthony because they are brother and sister, twins to be exact.

But she had emerald green eyes and she is one inch shorter than me, she is 5"7.

"Oh my god, were gonna miss you so much LillyGirl." Cecile has tears in her eyes as she comes over to hug me. "CeCe stop, your gonna make me cry." Anthony comes over and turns me to face him. "I'm gonna miss you a lot Lilly." His eyes are full of sadness. He bends down and kisses my lips. I'm in shock but kissed back. We stop kissing but my lips linger from the touch of his.

He runs his hand through his hair and gives me a cheeky grin which makes me blush. He scoops me up in a hug and kisses me again. He sets me down when my mom calls, "Lilian, come on now." I hug CeCe, "You two, don't forget to come visit and call all the time." A tear falls from my eye. "We'll miss you Lilly." Anthony wipes my tear away. "Don't forget to tell Abby we said hi." Cecile says as I step into the car.

The engine starts up, "Dad, wait." I see Anthony waving something in the air as my dad starts to pull off. I run to the front porch of my house. "What's up?" He hands me a

Thank-You card and a small box. "Here." I look at the grin on both of their faces.

I open the card and read the inside. It says, "Thank you Lillian for showing us what friendship really meant. We really love you a lot and were going to miss you.

Love Anthony and Cecile"

My tear drops to the page and I look up. "I love you guys." We have a group hug. I flinch when my dad honks the car horn. "Come on Lilly!" I kiss Anthony on the cheek and give Cecile a big hug. I start to walk back to the car when big hands grab my waist. Anthony. When I turn his eyes are full of love. "I'm gonna miss you a lot LillyBug." He kisses my neck and hugs me tighter.

We start kissing when my dad honks the car horn again and make us bump our foreheads together. "I'll miss you too knucklehead." I wave goodbye to Cecile who's eyeliner is running down her face and blow a kiss to Anthony. "Be sure to visit me you guys." I jump in the car and we head to our new house. When I sit down something hard hits my back. "Ow." I say low. I pull the box they gave me out of my back pocket.

I open it and can't help but gape my mouth open. It's the 14k ring I told Anthony I wanted for my birthday. Tears start running down my face, but I don't care I miss my friends too much, well boyfriend and best friend.
