When we found her she was with a horse that was three times her size alone that she kept calling Demon and from the way that she looked at it I knew that we would first have to find someone to look him before we would be able to take her with us willingly and that probably wouldn't be that hard considering all of the people that wanted to protect her from an evil that was worse than the ones she faced in the black markets and I and my crew were going to take her away from all of this and she had already captured my heart from the night that I had first meet the woman known as REDSNOW and one day I will make her and the one known as Scarlett's heart mine and I wouldn't let go now all I had to do was get her on the ship...

Eric's Pov

She was beautiful sitting there next to her giant horse she looked like an angel that had descended from heaven with her demon horse as her protector to opposites that were closer than family it would seem all I could do was look at her she was laughing at some of the animals that were in front of her

Her laugh sounded like that of sweet bells and her when hair was undone from the braid it was longer than I had first thought and more lovely than anything I had ever seen before it made her skin looked like golden wheat she wasn't pale like most royal women were and when she walked into the tavern she was treated like a normal person not like the Queen that she would one day be and unlike most women she could fight I could tell that from the way she moved that she was a master of many fighting styles and that when she had fought my first mate she was holding back a lot it was amazing just to stand there and watch her fight but it also made me want her for myself all the more (and not like that you pervs lol) I wanted to take her away from all of those stuck up royal's before they had a chance to snuff out her light of joy and kindness

Form what the traven women told me there was more to this royal princess then she let on and I almost couldn't wait to unravel all of her secrets no matter how dark they may be for this women was soon to be mine and I wouldn't let anyone else have her even if it would cost me my life she was all the treasure that I would need and my ship mates had already taken a real liken to her when she beat the first mate

I was pulled from my thoughts when I looked in the distance and saw a shadow that she seem not to have noticed yet it looked as if it were coming closer to her for it was heading in her direction it jumped out of the woods and into the light and the mere sight of it astounded me for it was said that these beautiful beast were all hunted and killed, I truly didn't want to kill this creature but if it wished to hurt the women known to me as Red I would shoot it without a second thought all I had to do was wait and see what this Griffen would do

Scarlett's Pov

I was waiting I knew that those men that were at the bar were in the woods all I had to do was wait and see what they would do but I soon felt a presence that I so rarely felt in these woods anymore since my father would always hunt them down for their skins they were magnificent creatures to hold sight to and when ever I saw one I would stay absolutely still and lest I scare the beautiful Griffin away all I could hope was that the men in the woods would not be like others and wish to kill the Griffin and if they did I would kill all of them,

I would slowly cut them all open and pour hot tar inside of them and as they screamed and begged me to kill them I would slowly sow them all back up I would then break all of their fingers then their legs then I would find the dullest knife I could i would then cut all of their fingers off and let them bleed out some I would then slowly cut off their toes and let them bleed out as well I would listen to their screams for mercy and I would diney them their death after awhile I would tie them up by their feet and cut open their throats I would then leave them there to bleed to death as their blood would make a small river to the outside world

I looked up to the Griffin it was so colorful with red and blue feathers that stood out against its black head he was beautiful in every sense of the word it was said that Griffins were some of the most intelligent creatures that have ever lived and that they far surpassed humans in intelligence my mother would always tell me stories about how they were said to be some of the best fighters and that they could talk to humans but only if the human deserved to hear their voice I always hoped that I would one day be able to meet on and it would think that I was worthy enough to hear it's voice

I was brought from my thoughts when the Griffin moved closer to me and laid down in front of me then it looked into my eyes and what happens next will always stay with me because I heard his voice and Eric's together he had come out of his hiding spot and he looked shocked he must have heard the griffin as well when it talked " Scarlet I'm pleased that you have become a women that your mother wished for you to be I am the king of all Griffins and if you should ever have a need of us shout out my name Micah and I will come to you" he said " thank y-you M-Micah " I silently cursed myself for my stutter I looked back to see if the Pirate was still there but he was already gone when I turned back to Micah I asked " why did you come to me? And how did you know my mother?"

" I once ruled this forest until your father came and attacked us your mother was an angle to all that met her she had not one cruel bone in her body and she stopped your father from killing my people she changed him for the better and when you were born the kingdom was full of love and light but when your mother died and your father hopped that by remarrying he would give you a female influence to help you become a proper lady but it would seem that, that did not come to pass though you have the skills of a lady you are able to to do things that most royal women can not, you protect your people in the shadows were your father can not and you can still love and pure as the sun shines its light you are truly one of a kind Scarlet and when you find the one that will love you the Griffins will rejoice with you and your people"

there were voices in the distance and I knew that all Of the Pirates had left which left me a little worried but the voices that I heard were those of the place grads they must have realized that Demon was no longer in his stall and the only one that he lets near him is myself and so they must have come looking for me again I turned back to the king Griffin " go you must leave before they get here and if I ever find someone that could truly I hope that you and the other Griffins will come back to this forest to protect us once again" " Dear child you may meet your love sooner than you think farewell for now dear Scarlet till we meat again" after he said that he took off and left me confused at what he meant about meeting the one that will love me I pushed that to the back of my mind when I heard the guard's calling me

" Pirecnss Scarlet it's not safe out here you must come back to the castle it is far too dangerous for someone of your standing to be out alone" I turned around with a scale on my face and I looked to George the head of my father's army and the man that personally trained me to fight " who does he think he is George I'm perfectly cable of taking care of myself and I don't like anyone to tell me other wise" " sorry Princess a new recruit" he said chuckling I looked to the new recruit " Well newbie I set down some rules for ya I'm not like most royal women I fight and do all the things that a prince would I'm not letting someone else rule my kingdom while I sit back and watch not gonna happen so never tell me it's dangerous out here again got it" the recruit quickly nodded his head " um Princess it seems that you have yet to send out your intentions to the other royals about your 18 birthday ball tonight" George said I smiled internally " No George I just don't a bunch of snobs to come and ruin my Birthday to night" but I couldn't even begin to imagine what my step mother had done just to spite me for my birthday to night or how I was to fulfill my dream to be free.............
