Himeko's POV
The next day, Kuroko-kun and I walked to school. We bumped into a friend of his.
"Tetsuya..." he muttered.
"Akashi-kun?" I asked quietly. He saw me and smiled.
"Ohayo-.... You don't mind me calling you Miyuki, do you?" I shook my head and showed him a smile, he smiled back.
"What are you doing here?" I asked politely. "I'm supposed to meet a teammate on the way here." I nodded.
"Well, I suppose you should get going now, it was nice seeing you two," he said then we parted ways. It was awkward bumping into him but I suppose everything is awkward between the Generation of Miracles at this moment.
We arrived at school quite early so I had time to relax before I went ahead with today's busy schedule. I called up Kise-kun.
"Ara! Himecchi, ohayo!!" he said delightfully and I sighed into the speaker.
"Kise-kun, I just wanted to remind you about the shoot we have later..."
There was a moment of silence until Kise yelled. "Eeeeeh?!?!?"
Great.. He forgot.
"I thought so. Should we meet up?"
"Ne~ I can't believe I forgot!"
"It's actually quite easy to believe," I said. "Eh, that's cold Himecchi." I rolled my eyes. Kise said he would pick me up so I suppose that's settled.
"Do you have an idea on what your shoot will show?" Kuroko asked.
"I've been told it was for some black tie collection." Suddenly, a tired looking Kagami arrived.
"Ussu," he greeted and sat down with a thump.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"Nah, just slept late from watching tv." As expected.
The day went on quickly and it was already afterschool. All I had left to do was to wait for Kise at the school's basketball court while watching the team train.
"Ne, don't you think Kise can be a bit childish?" Aida-senpai said.
"Indeed, he can be immature but he has his good sides. He's serious when he has to be," I said. Suddenly, someone attacked me with a bear hug from behind.
"Aww, how sweet Himecchi!!" Kise yelled as he put me down.
"He's still very immature," I said, a bit irritated as I fixed my uniform.
"Hehe, gomen."
I finished up and faced Aida-senpai,
"I'll take my leave now. Oh and could you tell Kuroko-kun not to wait for me to eat dinner? I might be a little late." She nodded and smiled. With that, Kise and I left.

Kise's POV
We were at the shoot and Himecchi was giving her all.
"Beautiful! Now how about a serious yet seductive look?" the photographer said, ecstatic that he was getting amazing shots.
"As expected of Himecchi," I said to myself with a smile. She's definitely serious about this. On the way here, she told me about her plan to one-up her father. Of course, I support her decision. It was a business matter.
I'm just wondering how she's handling things emotionally.
As her best friend, she tells me a lot but she rarely shows her real emotions. I'm just concerned that she might keep it all pent up and explode.
"It’s time for the both of you now." I stood up and walked over to Himecchi with a smile.
"You're doing great," I told her and she smiled. We did our shots and finished up quickly.
We were getting dressed to get out of here and Himecchi and I had a little chat.
"Have you talked to your dad yet?" I asked.
"No."
"What if you run into him?"
"There's nothing to be said."
"What if he wants you to come back?"
Himecchi paused for a bit.
"What's done is done. He's said his part. It's a bit too late for regret." She said and I frowned, though she didn't see it since there was a wall separating us.
"Your brother called me..."
