Himeko's POV
The party was going great. Everything was perfect. The visitors were enjoying the food, Kuroko and the rest were having fun, and the tension between the Generation of Miracles seemed like nothing but a memory. I smiled to myself and sighed. Suddenly, a reporter called out my name for a short interview.
"This is quite impressive," she said and I thanked her. "What we wanted to know is that after your little breakaway from your father and all his companies, what urged you to take your business back to the top?"
"Well," I started, trying to avoid the shaky feeling from being asked such a touchy question. "That itself was a motivation for me. I wanted to show not only my father, but other people what I was capable of. Most importantly..." I looked over to Kuroko and the team. They were laughing at some jokes being cracked. "Most importantly, I wanted to recreate a second home for everyone where people can just get together and get closer while enjoying some food."
"Indeed the atmosphere DOES seem homey," the reporter said then she thanked me and whatnot. She was followed by a businessman from my father's main company.
"I see you've moved on with your decision. Is it safe for me to assume that you are going to completely separate you and your company from your father's?" he asked and I nodded.
"Sir, since you have the time to take a break from my father's business dictatorship, perhaps you would like to try some of the pastries instead of just standing around like a guard. I'm sure you'll find it to your liking." He looked at me skeptically then moved onto the pastry table. I rolled my eyes at this.
The rest of the day went on and customers wanted to come in. Since it was opening day, I thought maybe everything could be free for the rest of the night. Time flew fast as I spent some time with the group. Soon I noticed that it was already six in the evening and closing time was about to come. I made the announcement and some of the visitors gave me some last minute congratulations and thanks. The Seirin team went ahead but Kuroko and Kagami stayed behind to help around.
"Oi, thanks for inviting me," Aomine said. "It was fun."
"And the food?" I said, asking for his opinion. He smiled at me.
"The best." I smiled a smile of victory. Akashi then approached me and gave me a small smile.
"Thanks for inviting me as well," he said. I smiled as well, glad that Akashi-san actually liked me, taking me off his list of people he would kill with scissors to the head. Midorima walked towards me with his usual cold tsundere look. I smiled at him either ways as he showed me a slight bow. The rest of the group left with smiled.. Well, except Kise-kun. He stayed behind as well, along with my brother.
"You did great," Kuroko said as he gave me a small peck on the cheek, sending butterflies to my stomach. Sometimes, I hate him for driving me crazy.

Kuroko's POV
The next day, Miyuki and I headed for school. It's the suck-ish reality we had to face.
"You go ahead, I have to drop by the gym this morning," I told her as we walked through the school gates. She smiled and nodded. I gave her a small kiss before she left. I walked to the gym but before I could get there, someone grasped my wrist. I turned around and saw two men in suits and shades.
"Kuroko Tetsuya," one of them said. "We work for Himeko's father. Stay away from her and let her leave. Her father requests that she immediately comes back."
"By force?" I asked, gritting my teeth. "It's not his decision to make." And with that, I broke free from the man's grasp.
"You might want to reconsider your choices," the other said. "You have two. First, you kick her out, leaving her no choice but to come back home. Second, we take her by force, brutal force. You wouldn't want that to happen, do you?"
My eyes widened. I couldn't believe these two.
"Do you seriously think she'll just go back to that monster?" I asked and the two smirked.
"Yes, actually."
This is bad. If I kick her out, not only will she break down, so will I. I can't handle that kind of pain... But I can't let her get hurt either...
"The choice is yours, Kuroko Tetsuya. Choose wisely."
I glared at the back of the two men as they walked away.

"Is something wrong?" I asked Kuroko-kun as we cleaned up. We were on the roof and just finished up on lunch.
"Miyuki..." he muttered, looking heartbroken.
"Did something happen?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"You have to leave."
My heart wrenched. Everything else in the world stopped.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"It's over."
For a second there, I thought my heart shattered into a million tiny pieces and now it feels as if they're scattered all over the floor.
"You're joking right?" I asked and he shook his head. "But I thought that you-"
"I don't love you."
Well. There goes my heart.
"I-if that's how you feel..." I muttered as I loked down. I couldn't bare look him in the eyes. Tears started falling down my cheeks. "I'll uhh... leave."

Kagami's POV
This guy must be crazy.
"Oi!" I yelled as I punched Kuroko on the arm. "What the hell are you doing?!" Himeko was now running away from the school in tears, probably off to pack up. Kuroko stayed silent though I could see tears welling up in his eyes.
This is not a normal sight to see.
"I had to, or else, she'll get hurt."
I raised a brow. "Have you lost your mind!? She's already hurt!"
"Oi! What's going on here?" coach yelled, walking towards us. I sighed. "Kuroko just broke things off with Himeko."
"NANI KURE?!?!" the rest of the team yelled. Coach gave Kuroko a punch in the guts. That's gonna cost her. "Have you lost your mind!?"
"That's what I said!"
"I HAD TO!" Kuroko yelled. Yep, this is definitely not a normal sight to see. Everyone fell silent. "I had to..." Kuroko said, now only mumbling to himself. He ran away.
I sighed and slapped my palm to my head. "What now?" I asked myself. Himeko had nowhere else to go except...
"Her dad," I muttered. Everyone else faced me with a confused look.
"We're on the same page," coach said. "Her dad might have something to do with this though I slightly doubt it. Kuroko couldn't possibly break up with Himeko just because of her dad..."
"Then that means that Kuroko is now nothing but a messed up jerk."
