Himeko's POV"Your brother called me."
I was shocked, to say the least. To think that my brother would call Kise-kun first... It's quite insulting.
"What did he say?" was all I could ask.
"He's coming home from Italy tomorrow and that your mom told him everything through email," said Kise. "Also, he said he couldn't get a hold of you so he called me to pass on the message."
"I-I see..."
Kise paused for a while and I just looked at him. He looked like he was thinking of something. Suddenly, he perked up and smiled, like he just remembered something.
"Oh, he also told me to tell you that he loves you too."
I smiled to myself. At least okaa-san got the message through.
"So, what now?" he asked. He seriously keeps asking that.
"Now, I'm going home. Kuroko-kun is probably waiting for me, I don't want to make him wait any longer," I said as I stood up from where we we were sitted.
"What about your brother?"
"Tell him I'll meet him after school at Maji Burger." And with that, I left and headed home.

Kuroko's POVWhen Miyuki-chan came home, she looked pretty troubled. She sat on the couch with a sigh and I sat down beside her.
"Is something the matter?" I asked.
"It's nothing. It's just that.... my brother is coming back home and we're supposed to meet tomorrow. I just don't know what to say to him..." I smiled.
"Whatever happens or happened, I'm sure he still supports you," I said and Miyuki smiled.
"Arigato, Kuroko-kun."
"No problem. Ne, it's getting late, we should sleep. Besides, you have a lot to do tomorrow." Miyuki nodded and took a quick bath. I already took mine so I was just waiting in the bedroom, staring up at the ceiling.
"Ara, you should have gone to sleep already," Miyuki said as she got out of the bathroom, drying her hair with her towel. I chuckled, sat up, and patted the place beside me, urging her to sit down.
"You should seriously dry your hair properly," I said as I took the towel from her hands and dried her hair. Miyuki smiled and chuckled, but then she stayed silent.
"What's wrong?"
"Kuroko-kun... Am I being a bother?" Miyuki asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I've been bombarding you with all my problems and you always support me. And you always take care of me. You even dry my hair. I never even got to formally thank you for everything you've done." I smiled at the flustered Miyuki.
"You already have, actually. And there is no need to thank me. Helping and supporting you is my choice." Miyuki chuckled.
"Arigato, Kuroko-kun."
As soon as I was done drying Miyuki's hair, I noticed that she had already fallen asleep, leaning on my chest. I chuckled and laid her properly on the bed beside me, tucking her underneath the blanket.
"Oyasumi, Miyuki-chan," I muttered and drifted to sleep as well.

"Oi, what's up with Himeko?" Hyuga asked. "She looks out of it lately." I sighed.
"I honestly have no idea. It's probably something personal."
"Not personal enough to keep it from Kise and Kuroko," Hyuga muttered and I nudged his guts.
"Shut up. You know she trusts them more than us."
I wanted to say that, but honestly, I wished that Himeko would trust us as much as she trusts Kuroko and Kise. But of course, I want to give her the time. I'll found out about everything, not now, but soon.
Here we were, practicing our butts off. Kuroko and Kagami were working on their passes, Hyuga on his dunks, Koganei on his speed, stuff like that. Himeko was sitted on the bench, looking down as if she was thinking of something. I sighed and sat down beside her.
"Hey," I muttered and she looked up at me.
"H-hai?"
"Is something bothering you?" I asked, a hint of worry in my voice. Of course, I mean, I was worried for the girl.
"My brother is coming back...."
..
...
....
"I'm confused," I said. "Shouldn't you be happy?" She just sighed.
"There's more to it than that huh?" She nodded.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" She shook her head.
"I'm sorry for worrying you, senpai. I'll tell you all soon once I get myself together," she said while forcing a smile. I frowned.
"I'm sorry for pushing these stuff out of you," I apologized. "I just couldn't stand seeing you so troubled."
"Is something going on?" I heard Kuroko say, suddenly behind me, giving me a heart attack.
"Dammit, Kuroko! If you're right there behind me, you should at least tell me!!" I yelled.
"I just did...."
Well there goes one eighth of my dignity.
"Nothing to worry about," Himeko said with a smile. She then checked her watch.
"Is it time?" I asked and she nodded. I suppose Kuroko knew about this too since he scampered away to the showers and got back quickly, dressed in his usual uniform.
"Shall we?" Kuroko asked and Himeko nodded. "I'll see you later, minna-san."
"Are those two going on a date or something?" Hyuga asked, looking a bit annoyed. He's kind of taken the brother figure role in Himeko's life, so has Kagami. I guess it's only natural since Himeko looks so innocent and fragile.
I just hope she won't break.

Kuroko's POV"Thanks for going with me," Miyuki muttered as we walked to Maji Burger. "No problem at all."
She told me everything that happened last night. I'm a bit shocked since her brother called Kise first. Miyuki didn't change her number either, so it would be impossible for him to to be able to call her. Just thinking of that reminded me of how sad Miyuki looked yesterday.
But now here she is, walking as poker faced as possible, though I'm guessing she's at her breaking point now.
We entered Maji Burger and saw her brother at the table near located at the end of the store. Miyuki took a deep breath then we walked towards him.
"Hey sis," he said with a smile that showed 'sorry'.
"You have some explaining to do."
