My Secret Neko Lover (Part 1)

OC Appearance:
Long pink hair that is kept within a two pigtailed braid. Wears glasses and has awkward and shy atmosphere. Gets bullied by others due to looking like a nerd and is always a bookworm due to that is always carrying a book.

Plot:
Despite being mistreated and is socially awkward, Mitsuki is a kind girl who couldn't leave Tsurugi (Tsurugi turned into a cat for an unknown reason all of a sudden, probably a prank by Kariya) who she found as a cat, alone and helpless. So she took him and cared for him, however, she also sees this cat as something to turn to for peace from her bullied life. But she doesn't know of Tsurugi actually being human who falls in love with her and wants to protect her and is given a chance when he poofs back into a normal human when the potion wears out.

A/N: If you ever see this (c/n), just think of Tsurugi's cat name. I'm not sure what to call him. Sorry...

Mitsuki's P.O.V.
"I'm home!" I yelled through the house. "Got it!" I heard my mom yell. I removed my shoes and set it aside. Finally! Home at last. No bullies, no teasing, no nothing that can ruin half of my day...

I was walking to the living room when my cute little cat walked up to me and purred at my feet. I bent down and picked him up. "Hey, little (c/n)" I said as I scratched his ear. "Meow~" I heard my little cat said. I smiled at this. I continued to walk to the living room with (c/n) in my arms.  "Dinner will be ready in thirty minutes, dear!" I heard mom yell from the kitchen. "Hai!" I answered back.

I looked down to my little cat and smiled. "Have you already eaten dinner, (c/n)?" I asked my cat. I saw (c/n) shook his head, signalling me that it's a 'no'.

Then I remembered something, I still have my bag. I giggled at this. (c/n) looked at me with a confuse look which I just giggled at. "Stay here, alright? I'm just going to put my bag in my room and I'm also going to change clothes" I said as I gently put (c/n) on the couch and stood up. I took my bag and started walking to the stairs when I heard my little cat behind me. I looked back and down to see (c/n) following me.

'This cat just doesn't leave me alone' I thought with a smile then picked him up. I continued to walk upstairs to my room with (c/n) in my arms.

When I was already in my room, I gently placed (c/n) in my bed. I put my bag at the side of my bed and took some clothes from my closet. "Stay there, (c/n). I'm just going to change" I said as I entered my bathroom.

As I entered my bathroom, I sigh in relief. That cat always gives me peace in my bullied life. Just a purr from that cute little face melts my heart. Sigh.

(c/n) isn't actually my cat. I found him alone and helpless so I decided to take care of him until someone look for him. But no one did so, I adopted him.

I'm glad I found him that day. Who could've left him there anyway? Such a cute cat must not be treated that way.

Third Person's P.O.V.

Mitsuki got out of her bathroom with different clothes this time. She grabbed her school uniform from earlier and put it aside. "Meow~" (c/n) purred from her bed. Mitsuki smiled at this. She felt so free from her life. She walked to her bed and picked her little cat up. Then she finally went downstairs. "Let's talk later, alright?" Mitsuki asked her cat. As an answer, (c/n) purred in her arms.

(c/n) is the only one she can express her feelings to. (c/n) is also the only one who she can tell her problems, mostly from her bullied life. And her cat will always comfort her. She was really lucky.

It was already three months since Mitsuki found (c/n) on the streets. And they get along just fine.

After a Dinner:
In Mitsuki's Bedroom

"Meow~" Mitsuki's cat purred while she was busy combing her hair. She looked at her cat who was in her bed. "Oh yeah..." Mistuki said then went to her bed and sat down. Her cat in her lap. "Meow~?" (c/n) purred and sounded more like a question.

"I know, I know...." she said knowung what the cat meant. Mitsuki and her cat always have a little talk about how her day was and her cat is always there to listen. "You know what pretty much happened..... Bullies here, bullies there. Everywhere! Geez, I'm already thinking that this unuverse is being ruled by bullies.... But..... All in all, it's not so horrible unlike the other days..... I passed my math quiz earlier and I visited a friend of mine who was a manager of the school's soccer field....." Mitsuki explained as she pets her cat. Her cat gave her a confuse glance. Might be asking who.

"Her names Aoi..... She's my only friend..... Oh yeah! I also known that one of their players were missing" Mitsuki said and noticed her cat froze in place. She looked at him confusingly. "(C/n)? Is something wrong?" she asked worriedly. The cat just shook its head. "If you say so" she said then sighed. "Aoi also said that their missing player has been missing for 3 months already, I mean, what the heck?...... But..... It kind of reminds of how many months you're with me, (c/n)" she said then smiled.

"Welp, I better go to sleep. You too, (c/n)" Mitsuki said then stood up from her bed then gently placed (c/n) in his own bed. She kissed her cat's head then went to bed.

Next Day:
At School

Mitsuki decided to bring (c/n) to school and since he was a cat, she hid him in her school bag.

The day went by fast, with bullies bullying her. She was already walking to the gates of the school to go home, when a bunch of bullies blocked her way. "Hey, it's the nerd that we always see in the library!" the first boy said. "You're right! What are you doing here, bookworm? Are you going home now to tell your mom that your getting bullied again?" the secind boy said then they all laughed at her. "Please, just leave me alone" Mitsuki said then tried to walked pass them but failed.
One of the boys pushed her back which made her land on the ground with a thud. (C/n) came rolling out of her bag. Her cat heard everything. "Aww, is the little baby going to cry?" they teased and teased. Mitsuki was finally crying. "Just leave me alone!" she said then grabbed her bag then ran passed the boys who were bullying her. "She's not fit in this school" "Why was she ever accepted here?" she heard them say.

(C/n) ran after her and followed her to the park. Mitsuki sat on one of the benches, crying her heart out. Her cat went to her side and purred softly. Mitsuki caressed it's back still sobbing. "Why can't they stop...." she whispered to (c/n).

Her cat suddenly sensed something then ran to a tree. "(C/n), come back here you little cat" Mitsuki said then followed her cat. When she arrived to the tree where (c/n) ran to, he wasn't there. She grew confused. "Where did you go?" she asked herself then continued looking.

After a few minutes, she found her cat sleeping at the bottom of a sjady tree. "There you are" she said then sat beside her cat. "I wish someone can help me with my life..... Someone.... Who can be my friend...." she whispered and a tears started to fall slowly again.

Mitsuki covered her face because she didn't want people seeing her crying. She didn't noticed that her cat wasn't there anymore. But there was something.... More or less, someone......

"I'll protect you, Mitsuki"
