Third Person's P.O.V.

Tsurugi Kyousuke was the cold-hearted ace striker of Raimon Jr. High. Every girl are head-over-heels for him but he denies all of them. He said that LOVE was just a pain. He also said that he doesn't need it. That is what he believed in.

But that belief changed when a similar cold-hearted girl transfered to his school. The girl has the same attitude, same belief, and same personality as Tsurugi.

Can Tsurugi ever change his belief about LOVE?

Can she find a way to let herself LOVE someone?

We'll see.....

-After 5 months-

The newbie finally came and it was already her 5th month at Raimon. She became a team member of the soccer team and also an ace just like Tsurugi.

She was always seen practicing alone or with Tsurugi sometimes. And Tsurugi and her often come to a fight of random things.

But this fighting led them to the word LOVE. Tsurugi was slowly having feelings for this girl and she was the same. But she was denying it.

Tsurugi accepted that he likes this girl but she doesn't. She kept on believing on her belief that LOVE will only be a pain. Tsurugi changed his belief. 'Maybe LOVE can be happiness too' he thought.

The girl was known as Gouenji Saki. She's Gouenji Shuuya's cousin. She was trained only by the best. She has long, wavy, blond hair which matches her green, emerald eyes. But her personality was the same as Tsurugi.

One day, Tsurugi saw Saki practicing alone. He smiled to himself. This was the day he was waiting for. He wants to confess to her. He wants to tell her he loves her.

He slowly approached her on the field. "Hey, Saki?" he said which made her turn around. Her hair was being blown away by the wind. "What is it, stupid?" She asked which made him chuckle. "You still have guts to call me that, blondie" he said.

They were used to this teasing. They enjoy calling each other names. "So what is it? You're wasting my time" she said as she raised an eyebrow. "I wanted to tell you something..... But before that.... Just push me away if you don't like it....." he let his voice trail then suddenly crashed his lips to hers.

Saki was taken aback but she didn't do anything. She didn't push him back nor did she kissed back. Tsurugi separated from her, a bit disappointed. "I'm sorry..... I.... I just kind of..... Like you.... I mean, l-love you....." Tsurugi said looking away.

Saki turned around, not facing him. "I do to, Kyousuke..." she whispered but Tsurugi heard her. "R-Really?!" he asked in disbelief. She slowly nodded. "But..... I can't......." she said again. "What do you mean?" Tsurugi asked. "It's not like I'm afraid to love.... I'm just afraid of getting left and hurt....." Saki said.

Tsurugi hugged her from behind. "Saki, give me a chance..... I can't promise you anything but I can always try and do my best. I won't hurt or leave you..." Tsurugi said. He wasn't letting her go. He slowly turned her around so he can look at her but he saw that she was already crying.

"Hey, stop crying..... It's alright if you don't want to..." he said as he wiped her tears away. Then, Saki hugged him. Tsurugi was taken aback but hugged back with a smile on his face. "I'll give it a try" she whispered. Tsurugi nodded. "Saki?" Tsurugi called. "Y-Yeah?" she said as she looked up since Tsurugi was a bit taller than her. "Can you be my girlfriend?" he asked.

And for the first time, he saw her smile. Not a normal smile, but a true, genuine smile. "Of course..... Stupid" she said as she giggled. Tsurugi chuckled at the nickname then kissed her forehead. "I love you, Saki" Tsurugi said. "I love you too, Kyousuke" she answered.

Tsurugi lowered his lips to her as he kissed her. This time, she kissed back.

It was the greatest day of their lives. They changed their beliefs and tried to LOVE. And it results to happiness.

They learned something, LOVE can't always hurt, it can also give happiness.
