I continue to follow the man in the suit down the hallway. We make a few turns and before I have time to think about what I'm going to say or do, we are at the door.

The man who showed me in knocks three times and nods at me before walking away.

The door opens and it's another man in a black suit that shows me into the office. To my disappointment the president is no where to be seen.

"Have a seat." The man says and I walk over to one of the chairs on the side of the room. "The president is in a meeting right now. We just have to wait for someone to bring the documents for you to fill out."

I just nod and the man stands guard at the door for a few minutes before stepping back to let someone in.

"Mr. President" He says and I jump up instantly and straighten up my pink dress.

The president excuses the guard and then it's just me and him in the office. We keep eye contact and he smiles before walking over to his desk.

He reaches out his hand and gives me
another warm smile. I feel so overwhelmed and flustered for no reason. I just can't stop thinking about the fact that I am in the same room as the President of the United States and I'm about to shake his hand.

I reach my arm out and take his hand in mine. His hands are firm and hard, like a man who has worked a lot. But they are also gentle as he moves my hand up to his lips and kisses the back of it.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Scarlett." He says and his voice is smooth and flows like music into my ears. I remember that he is just a person like anyone else and try to keep my self together.

"It's so great to meet you, Mr. President. Words cannot describe what an honor this is." I say and he lights up with a smile.

"I have some papers for you to fill out. I'm very excited to have you work for me." He says as his eyes meet mine once again.

"I'm equally as excited." I say and he grins.

"I think we're going to have a lot of fun."
