Jenny's POV
I sighed 😥
For the time being, this is the 20th time that I sighed. And God knows what kind of expression Pete was giving me.
Last week was the awkwardness of all awkward moments in my life.
Except for the chocolates though.
"This," Ash hand over a piece of paper and I grabbed it immediately and looked at the content.
"...is your punishment from your leave last week."
"Punishment? Why do I have to be punish? I was in the state of like-dying that time." I rolled my eyes. He looked at me with a face like I did something wrong.
"Are you complaining, Miss Jenny?" He asked in a serious tone. I gulped.
"As far as I remember, you work under me. I can't just ignore your one week leave. Soon, it'll be your payday. Why don't you just buy those things that I wrote in that paper and make it up." He finished it in his bossy yet sarcastic voice.
I blinked a few times and reminded myself that I work as a PA, and not to slack off.
I nodded my head. "Okay! I understand. I almost forgot about that. I'm sorry."
"Good. Here's the card. Use it to buy those things. Okay? Later!" He began to walk away but then he stopped. "And about the chocolates..."
"Oh! It was yummy, sir! Thank you, again." I chirped. I'm so happy I received such a gift from him who I admired the most. I want to squeal this very moment!!
"I'm glad you like it." He replied then he turned to his back. "I mean, I'm glad you all like it. It's my way of saying Thank You for all of your efforts and supports to me." He said out loud.
So he's just being kind. Why did I even hope that he gave the chocolates just for me? Well in fact it is for everyone.
"Of course! We'll support you 'till the end!" Pete said then he came to me and whispered, "Do you see that weird box over there? That's the chocolate he just brought this morning. The Ultimate Box, I must say."
"I can see that." I gritted my teeth. Why do I feel upset?
He then leave and I just ignored the stupid box of chocolates in front of me.
I read the paper he gave me instead.

Me, being upset just fade away at that thought. Who am I to be upset anyway? I just chuckled. I don't know what he's planning to do with this paints and brushes but I think it'll be fun.
"Hey Pete, wanna come?" I asked Pete. He glanced up from whatever his doing in his phone and gave me a sorry face.
"Aww I'm sorry. I can't. The Boss wants me to do some errands." He said. And I guess he must be talking about the manager-- Ash's manager.
