The next day...

Riker POV

Skylar and I went back to school. It was weird. All the popular kids were gone.

Word had gotten around about what I did, which was stand up against them. And a bunch of people talked to me and Skylar. There were definitely a few friendships made today.

Once school was over, Skylar came over to my house. We went upstairs to my bedroom to talk.

"So... Pretty interesting day, huh?" Skylar asked.

"Yeah... No bullies. And people actually talked to me! That's never happened! Ever!"

Skylar smiled.

"Well I'm glad you're so happy. Everyone seems to like us now. We stood up against the people everyone hated. It's like they were scared to talk to us because the popular crowd hated us. But now that they're gone..."

"Life is good."

"Yeah."

"I'm glad everything worked out."

"Yeah. Finally, everything seems to be going good. You're recovering, no one bullies us at school, you're tutoring me so I have good grades, and most importantly, we're dating."

I laughed.

"What?"

"Nothing. You're my first girlfriend. I'm still not used to the whole relationship thing, and I just love how you love me."

Skylar smiled.

"You love how I love you?"

"Nobody's ever liked me or loved me before. And to have the used to be most popular girl in school as your girlfriend, and you're a dork in the first place, is amazing."

"Riker, you're not a dork."

"I know you say that, and I don't think I'm one now, but I think I used to be one. I know I was! I know how I used to dress and act."

"Ok fine, you were a dork. But that's not a bad thing! We need smart people in the world! And you're so sweet, and you care so much! And you're definitely not a dork anymore."

"Thanks."

"But even though you used to be a dork, there was nothing wrong with it. You were adorkable."

"Adorkable?"

"You were an adorable dork!"

I laughed.

"Riker, you're perfect. And I just love you," Skylar said, leaning her head on my shoulder.

"Well you're perfect too. We make a very unlikely pair, but I think we work nicely together as a couple."

"Definitely."

Skylar took my hand and intertwined our fingers together.

"I love you," Skylar said, moving closer.

"I love you too."

I felt her lips on mine. And my life was perfect.

A/N : It's over... But I already have more ideas for my next book. And by new ideas I mean I already have 20 chapters written... I was kind of excited for it... It will be called Long Lost Brother. And I'm hoping to have it up by tonight. The basic plot is that Riker finds out that he actually has another brother. And not just a brother. A twin. His twin lives in Ohio, and his name is Jeffery Simon Sterling. AKA the character Riker played on Glee. You'd think Riker would be happy about getting another sibling.
